Hey there!
35.gif

So after reading the board and searching the net it seems that Chubb is the way to go...but I have read that Chubb has been quite an issue to get just a valuable articles policy. So after calling and emailing about a dozen agents I have received about 5 responses back saying they will do it for me and all were just about the same cost.

My question is...who to go with? I know this is kind of an odd question but I just am curious are there any questions I need to ask to these people that will tell me to use one over the other? Most are in the location where I live (nyc) but at least 2 are from a different state.

If anyone has any ideas...or just flip a coin..please let me know.

thanks!

Joe,

They weren''t EXACTLY the same cost? Interesting. Did you give them all the same basic information? Your contract is going to be with Chubb, not the agent and they are the ones setting the price so I''m quite surprised at the above statement. For convenience purposed, I would choose an agent that is close to home but, if they aren''t the best price, I would ask them why not.

Neil,

2 of them gave me the same dollar amount and 2 of them gave me about 50 dollars more...and I gave them all the same specs. The two that gave me more hinted that they will give it to me this way now but require another policy soon. One of them just got back to me and said I need another policy to get it done.

Thanks,
-joe
