I''m wondering if anybody has dealt with Gordon''s Jewelers. My girlfriend has her eyes set on one ring, and they seem to be the only store that carries it. They claim to have been around for over 100 years, but for being a chain jewelry store, they dont seem to have the well-known name that Kay, or Zales, etc have.

So I''m wondering if anybody can comment on their store.

I personally wouldn''t buy from any of those mentioned because they are all too expensive. You can find stones that are better quality, more informed sales folks, and much more reasonable prices from a trusted online vendor such as whiteflash, jamesallen, goodoldgold.com, etc. If you have a picture of the setting from gordons, any of those vendors should be able to custom make a setting that looks similar.

Please share the setting with us. Chances are, if it''s sold at Gordon''s, it''s not all that complex a design (as far as being created by someone else).

You will pay an exorbitant price for an inferior stone and setting at any of those stores. You will find much better quality for your money through one of the trusted pricescope vendors.
