He was zipping about the house in his scooter. (We ordered the sticker!) And Grandma is happy.

Update on mom as well. She''s 99% sure she''s having the surgery, she''s not sure if she''s having it at UCSF or Stanford yet though. So... that''s in the offing sometime soon. I''ll update when I know more.

I am just coming to this thread, and I am glad to learn that your grandfather is on the mend. I didn't know there would be news on your mother here, too. I have not read an update on her in a long, long time (since the thread on her hospitalization). How is she doing? How will she be able to participate in your upcoming wedding?

Thank you everyone for your replied and happiness!!!!!!! Grandpa''s continuing to improve, and I''m very happy about that.

I''ve been absorbed in some of mom''s surgery stuff, and really well... needing to work through my feelings about it all, so I''ve been off the boards. She''s definitely having the surgery, within the next month we think. And I''ll post more about that later, just need some time away from it for now.
