Awww, I am absolutely and positively overwhelmed by your sweet and touching comments, everyone! I *will* come back and respond to every person individually, but that's going to have to wait since it's almost 11pm, we're not done packing and we leave early in the morning! But I promise, I will, especially since I almost cried a bit at some of them (*coughcoughpurrfectpearequestriennecough*

).

BUT! To tide y'all over until then, I have a couple of photos for you. Remember, this isn't my dream ring--it was my great-grandmother's engagement ring, and I know almost nothing about it. Might get it appraised at some point, since I am curious. I don't think the cut is that good, and it's rather dwarfish on my giant fingers, but I do like it because I have lovely memories of my grandmother wearing it. Anyway! Enough chatter.
