OOHHHH... I defintely like the flowers more than I like the tiara!! Thanks for the pictures.. I like the last one best!!!

Ooo! that's the hair that I want! Can you explain how the hair dresser did it? It is half up?
I wasn't sure about a tiara either but I wanted something sparkly on my head so I went with a low comb.

Yeah not a huge fan of the tiara Photoshop on MINE...it looks too much like hopeful english royalty or something. I love the first shot with flowers in the hair, not so much the second...

I did flowers in my hair, but don''t know if I have any hair shots...she just put a few white orchids and I really liked the simplicity. Our flowers were orchids too.

Oh and wow Irina you are getting GOOD with Photoshop...!

You look wonderful!!!

are you quite sure you have children?

btw, I vote for a tiara.

you look just gorgeous MINE

LOL.... you ask only because pictures were taken ABOVE the hip line.. LOL... But thanks so much!!!

thank you again everybody.

I tried on a tiara today at a store that has some beautiful things... UNFORTUNATELY.. they do not have a return policy, exchange policy and a no picture policy. Personally I think these are all crappy policies... NO PICTURES... how are you supposed to get advice from people... un friggin believable!

Carebear... it is half up half down. She curled most of it first and then pulled it back on the sides... then she went back and curled the rest in little curls. I couldn''t WAIT to get out the 500 bobby pins in my hair though.

I am quite torn.. it is an evening wedding in an Anglican Church... but we have suits instead od tuxes in black with the silver vest and tie.... My dress is the ivory, so the flowers would look nice.. but some wonderful bling in a tiara would be scrumptous in all the candlelight... there are going to be torches on the ends of the pews as well.. so everything will sparkle..

I really love the way your hairstyle looks with the flowers. I think the tiara is very nice, but the flowers---especially now that I know that you are having a garden ceremony--is so perfect!

Some white orchids or some white stephanolgos(sp?) would be perfect and fitting for the day. Keep in mind that the orchids are pretty fragile, but if your hairdresser can anchor them carefully into your hair, they should be ok and last right through the reception.

I saw a bride when I was in the Caribbean at St. Lucia who had orchid-like flowers in her hair and some hair glitter lightly accenting her hair. It was breathtaking and much prettier than a veil would be, IMO...Her groom had a matching flower for his boutonniere. Her two attendants had something similar but not as regal...the bride''s stood out in a beautiful way...

Just thought I''d share that with you...

MINE, you look just gorgeous and sooooooo not 31! :) I like the flowers best as well. Congrats, you''re gonna look stunning!!!

Sorry...just read that you are having a church wedding, not a garden one, but nonetheless it would stunning. A little sprinkling of hair glitter would catch the light and be nice, though, without overkill.

If you really lust after that blingage that a tiara has, then by all means, go for a blingy tiara and add a few tiny real flowers strategically placed and secured in your curls...what do you think?

No problem... What do you think about flowers for my hair and some blingy necklace and earrings? Maybe like a time period piece.. My dress looks quite renassaince with the flowy sleeves.

My brother got married on the beach in Jamacia... his wedding was stunning and his bride had flowers kinda like what you described. It was stunning.

I''d do one or the other, but not both. Unless, of course, you''re doing simple pearls studs and a pearl necklace, or something...but when you say blingy, I think chandelier earrings and a large, sparkly necklace. What does your dress look like?

Here are some pictures. This is before the alterations and I do not have a crinoline under it, so it is going to be fuller. It is chiffon.

31?! You could pass for 21! Really, you like a girl who works in my building and she''s young and right away I was like "That''s not her, is it?"

I love love love the flowers in your hair--especially with your dress. Nice!

i vote for the flowers, they are sooo classy and simple and years down the line when u look at ur wedding pics again u wont be saying ''i wish i didnt go with the tiara'' or ''i wish i didn''t do that''.....flowers are timeless ;) IMO anyway =)

ooooh you''re so pretty!!!!! I love the hair!!! I like the flowers too... I think they go better with the dress.... but then, a tiara feels more formal I guess, esp since the ceremony is in the evening.

I would not know you were a day over 25 if you didn''t say so!

Mine, you DEF look 25. I really like the flowers, but considering your dress, I don''t think you can go wrong with a crystal headband, either.

I LOVE the idea of a time period piece that ties your dress and the feel of everything together! Oh my, you are already so lovely that the finishing details will just make things that much more perfect! I am SO thrilled for you...

For my son''s upcoming wedding at the end of May, I want to have either some flowers in my hair or a vintagey looking barrette. I plan to do my hair very similar to yours. I have naturally wavy hair so I want to incorporate some of your ideas into my hair, as mother of the groom. My hubby and I are going to walk our son up the aisle so this is all new to me to be in the spotlight at one of my kids'' weddings!

I am so dying to see your wedding day pics!

FYI, if you decide to go with a special necklace, make sure you keep it simple and sophisticated...not too much. Remember, a little pizazz with the necklace and small earrings and delicate flowers in your hair will make you feel like the bride you want to be...I cannot believe you are a day over 25!

My oldest daughter turns 25 this November!

Oh my...I suddenly feel very, very old!

Your hair is such a gorgeous color, and your dress is so classic and timeless...so I think you could do a little bling in your hair! Nothing "princess" like, but something that will sparkle a little bit!!

oh MINE, you look SO pretty! And certainly not a day over 25 either

I really like the flowers, I think they add that special something extra.

Mine,

I love your makeup! you look like a glowing bride -- just perfect!

I also love the first photoshop pic with the smaller flowers. beautiful!

Hi Mine! One of my girlfriends got married in that exact dress last summer and looked lovey- as do you! I LOVE your hair! Here''s an idea... what about some sparkly barrettes/bobby pin things? That might achieve the bling affect, but not in the traditional headband sense. Here is one of my thoughts... more lipstick/gloss! Your make-up is nice, but for dramatic effect I would add some false eyelashes, some more lipstick and gloss, and a bit more blush- that way you aren''t washed out in photos.

Wow, you look beautiful. I personally do think that something simple needs to be added to the hair though. Some scattered pearls maybe. But I also really like the first photoshopped flower pic! It just adds a little something and is a great contrast with your hair. The makeup looks spectatular...and btw, you do not at all look anywhere near 31!

LOVE the pics!
I''m in the minority here- I really like the tiara/headband. I think it adds that extra bit of bling that you''re looking for.

I''ve seen this done with other flowers, so I think it could be done with orchids...

for a little bling, why not have the florist who does the orchids for the hair put a sparkly jewel or rhinestone on the end of the pin that goes into flower? Bling and flowers!

Here''s what I''m talking about:
