Yssie, you just asked exactly what I was wondering when I went back and read the whole thread- what exactly is this neat glaze thing you're referring to? 
My hair is in relatively good condition- it's mid-back-length and no split ends- and generally pretty shiny but shinier is always better with super dark hair, and if it tames the frizz from my curls at all I would love that too. And I'm having to dye more than I ever had before as the grey advances...
