i''m glad i could be of some help!

ginger has great pictures!! she put gorgeous red roses on one side after she took off her veil. her pictures are on here somewhere.

i did not wear a veil and instead put orchids in my hair. i got a ton of compliments. i actually took a print out of ginger''s picture to the stylist and she duplicated it pretty quickly (as you can see in the way-too-large pictures above). it stayed all day and looked the same in our pictures, the bulk of which were done AFTER the reception was finished. there are pictures of the flowers in my hair here somewhere with a wedding picture thread as well.

I remember GBCs photos being Exceptionally pretty. But, I searched for her old thread, and the photos don't work anymore. Oh well. These photos should get me started at hair trial #2!

ETA: Novia, I think I remember thinking your photos were very beautiful as well.

Maybe this updo thing will work out now that I've discovered some styles that aren't too prom nor too stiff.

I wore my hair 1/2 up and I still had curls in it the next morning. I disagree that it is an informal look. There are so many different 1/2 up styles so I don't think it is this or nothing. I think if the up part flowed better it would be prettier.

While I like the half half look it can look a bit less formal and you are the bride so you should look how you want! I also agree that the tendrils, while it can look artful and casual and not like a whole day was spent at the hairdressers, which can be a nice look depending, I agree it might end up looking messy and sloppy. I liked the other two updos but think you need to make sure that it does not look to old on you and that you have nice earrings to go with it since they show differently when your hair is all up. But I am not worried that you will not look great, and you have gorgeous hair!

Love, love, love the second picture you posted and gbc''s hair. I can''t really see the details of the first picture so I''m not sure if I like it or not.
