I bought a Tacori 2620 Engagement ring for my finance last Fall and now my jeweler is recommending me to get the 2630 wedding band as a matching set. Can anyone with a 2620 + 2630 set show me a hand pic? thanks

Malnik,

Hopefully someone with more help will chime in, but I did find this on the forums, although it doesn't have a ton of photo help.

The hand shot shows the band your jeweler recommended with the 2620, and while she didn't have a top-down shot, she mentions its very similar to what the other band in her post looks like from the top.

Thanks Erinn! that's what I was looking for!

For what it's worth, I ended up going with the HT2259 and am SO glad I did. The 2630 would cover up the beautiful profile of the 2620, at least with the HT2259, you see pretty detail and diamonds. I had Tacori modify to take the milgrain off the top-down view, so the rings are an exact match from the top. I also had them add the little cut out details on the profile. LOVE it, just my 2 cents :)

Here are some pics for you

Jennifer2828- thank you for posting these pictures! I have been undecided about what band to match with my 2620. I went to my jewelers to try wedding bands and decided to try the 2259 after seeing your post. It really is a beautiful ring, and a great match! I'm highly leaning towards this band, but my jeweler is getting 2 more bands in for me to try before making my final decision. I'm wondering if you have any pics of the band alone on your hand? I'm a nurse, and once I'm married I think I will mostly where my band alone at work so I don't risk losing my stone. If you have hand pics of your band alone I'd love to see them!! Thanks again! Your rings are so stunning!

@ Hay RN - Thank you! I just took a few pics of just the band. Please excuse the poor iPhone quality, but hope this helps. I love the detail on the sides, especially when I am just wearing the band. It looks the same from the top down as the 2630 (with the modification to leave the milgrain off), but has more detail from the side. I believe the height of the 2630 and HT2259 are the same as well. One thing to note though...the HT2259 only comes in one width (2.5 mm). I have the 2620LG which is 2.4 mm, so this wasn't a problem, but if you have a smaller band just keep in mind that the widths would be different.

Jennifer2828, Thank you so much for replying and posting these new pics! It truly is a gorgeous ring. You, like myself, probably went with Tacori for the beautiful detail they give in their rings. This ring is a prime example of that and I think that is why I am not drawn to the 2630, because the detail just isn't there. Thank you for including the information on width. I have the MD. I tried on a band I assumed was the 2259 because it had the exact detail as yours on the side, but the width of it looked identical to mine. So now I'm wondering if maybe I actually tried on a different style number?? My jeweler wrote it down with the pricing so I will have to see... But the side detail is what is selling me on this ring. The other bands I am looking at are the 2630 (mostly just for my FI's sake, I really don't think I want it), and the other is the 2598B. That one is a gorgeous eternity band. This site and all it's bling has turned me on to the idea of an eternity. I think I'll love the ring on it's own but not as a match, so I don't think I will go with it, but just want to see it for fun :]]

Btw, can you tell me if you got the half band, 75% or 100%? My jeweler suggested I go with 90% so I can size it. However, for cost purposes, I'm thinking the 50% of 75% will be more practical. Just wondering what you have and if you get bothered by spinning if you have a half or 75% band.

Thanks again, you've been a wonderful help! :D

@ Hay RN - I have the 1/2 way version. I don't have any trouble with spinning at all, but I know due to sizing some people do. In terms of the band you tried on, it may have been something similar to the HT2259. I believe there are several similar styles - all beautiful :)

Also, here's a side pic so you can see the cut-out detail I had them add to it. I was really anal about it matching exactly to the e-ring :)

I started this thread a few months ago in search of pictures of 2620 ER and 2630 band together. I placed an order through my jeweler after the holidays for the 2630 and took delivery last week. Here's a few pictures for future reference

I am so glad you posted these pictures! The set is gorgeous and perfect :appl: After you wrote this original post I looked into the band that Jennifer2828 matched with her 2620. However, after going back and forth, I decided on the 2630, the exact band you purchased. I had my doubts after making the decision, but you have eased my mind with these pictures! My band is expected to ship on Feb 11th and I cannot wait to receive it now! By the way, can you tell me your Fiance's diamond size and ring size for comparison sake?

Thanks so much and best of luck to you and your future bride :]]

The diamond on the 2620 ER is a a 1.32 ct. The ring size is 4.75. Glad to know my post helped.

Really beautiful malnik...Congratulations!

Hey Malnik,

I love your rings, they look fab. I am hoping you can help me.

Could you take a really close up pic of the cut out detail in your rings?

I've been looking everywhere online and i cannot find a closeup to see what it looks like.

Would be really helpful as I'm trying to design my own eng ring for my girlfriend and not sure if I should include some side detail or not.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jennifer!
I am a newly proud owner of a Tacori 2620RDMD (2mm width). I also agree with you that the 2630 matching band covers up the side detail of the engagement ring. And I wanted to get the 2259 like you, but was told it was too thick, since it's 2.5mm. Therefore I went with the 2616B 1/2 way eternity ring. It has crescent cut outs and details very simliar to the 2259 you have. I asked my jeweler if they can leave of the milgrain on top, but he said he would ask Tacori. Do you know if Tacori charges extra to leave the milgrain off? I'm not really adding or modifying the ring itself, simply asking they not add the milgrain on the top view. Would you minde telling me how much that change cost? if you know?

Thanks for posting all those great pics, even it if was a few years back... it still is very helpful to a recently engaged bride.
