I have a new recipe, sort of.

My job offers "wellness" lunches and claims the lunch is 500 calories or less.

Anyway, today they made grilled romaine lettuce with chicken and blue cheese.

YUMMY!!

I have no idea if their 500 calories claim is true but it was delicious!

Good evening!

I hope everyone''s had a good day. We had our first staff meeting with our new principal this afternoon, and it went well. Can I just say how much I like my class this year? So far, so good (knock on wood). I''m so impressed with this group -- I love it! It''s a much smaller class than I had last year, so that helps. Not as many personalities competing for attention.

I skipped the gym after school today because they''re doing maintenance on each section of the gym, and the pools are scheduled for the next week or so. I had worked out with my new trainer for an hour yesterday, and I didn''t want to do the weights and machines two days in a row. I''ll try to go tomorrow after my foot doc. appt.

Fiery: How''s the journal writing going? I don''t write in a jourmal, but I plan my meals in a database that my husband created (as part of his former job with a hospital). I like doing it -- as long as I can balance out the numbers and percentages by the end of every day, I''m a happy camper. I hope journaling is going well for you.

Panda: I know how hard it is to stay away from tempatations at work. One of our teachers'' house keepers sends in a cake every week with this teacher. It always stares me in the face when I get to the teachers'' room for lunch. Most days I try to resist, but it''s hard to pass up cake. Who doesn''t like CAKE?

Hi Gecko!

Skippy: I''ve never been to Costco. You can eat there? I never knew that.

SS: I''ve seen pics of your son, I believe. He''s a cutie!

L2T: Yay for dropping a pants size.

Hi Appletini! I hope your voice is doing well now. I hope you feel better soon!

Dee*Jay: I''m glad you got to hang out with Kim and her busband. How fun!

Marcy: I agree with you - how hard is it to make it to work on time? I''m always ridiculously early for everything, and it drives me crazy when others are late.

Hi Kathleen! Thanks for the congrats!

Dragonfly: It sounds like you had fun at your aunt''s wedding.

Hi Steph! It''s funny how much energy kids have, isn''t it?

SDL: I love Fage. I haven''t had it in forever, but now I''m in the mood for it. Maybe I''ll stop by the store and pick some up.

SanDeigoLady, have fun at the open house, honey!!! i bought some fage too, you got me craving it! hehe Hugs and kisses to you!!!

Fieryred, yay for the wellness lunch, more company's should do that!! That really is awesome, I think it would be benificial to employeers if they did offer a lunch prgrom like that. Good job!

Zoebartlett, glad you have a wonderful and close knit class this year! I bet you are a wonderful teacher and your students love you! Glad you went to the gym! Yay for resisting the cake!!!

Panda, love the new panda avatar, sooooo cute!! hehe Yay for the gym, you are doing awesome and yay for a cooking light recipe, you rock!!!

Rod, you are missed, honey!!!

Tacori, how are you sweetie?

DeeJay, yay for another workout, you kick booty! hehe

Off to go do my workout!

Happy Wednesday everyone. As Dee mentioned J and I were in Chicago for a few days so I''ve been MIA. I certainly ate well, but not healthy! We did a ton of walking, including mine and Dee''s 4 hour wander through jewelers row. I''m in awe of the woman, not only because she gets more funny and fabulous every time I see her, but because the jewelers all know her by name!

So it''s back to work and back on the wagon for me after several days of indulgence. We had some of the best food I''ve ever eaten and two new restaurants, Sixteen and Perennial, have entered my top ten favorites list (yes, I actually have a list in my head).

Anyways, it''s nice to be back and you all seem to be doing fabulously, hooray!

I''m doing good (thanks for asking Skippy!
2.gif
) I think I may have lost a few pounds this week. Probably just water weight. Hey, I''ll take it! I did my "Cardio Max" DVD again today. I think I''ll switch it up to the "30 day shred" tomorrow but am a little scared. Calorie wise I think I did good today. Tomorrow not so sure since we have a playdate and usually wine and junk food are the mama''s staples. I guess everyone deserves a break.

Back from my workout, yay! I was treated to a gorgeous sunset. Also, earlier hubby and I ate outside on the patio and just relaxed we both had boca burgers w/fresh avacado. Have a great evening all!!
35.gif

KIMBERLY, you were missed!! Glad you are back and you and DJ had a wonderful time looking at bling!

TACORI, you rock!!! Yay for losing a few lbs, I don''t think it is water weigh, great job
36.gif
I should be getting my dvd in the mail soon, I can''t wait, you little enabler. hehe

We had a busy day. There was leftover cleanup from the "pen incident" yesterday. That would be where JT took a black pen (I don''t know where it came from) and wrote all over my sofa. After tons of scrubbing and multiple chemicals, I finally put the seat covers in the washer and crossed my fingers. They came out pretty well, and with rubbing alcohol I removed most of the pen marks. Then we had two peeing accidents and a pool incident. I have been in water or the like all day!!

Anyway...I made some "fries" in the oven for supper, just potato wedges that I tossed with evoo and baked/broiled for a while. They were pretty good and JT completely took them for french fries! No yoga today and no yoga tomorrow (we have to go to the realtors office at the same time it comes on, wish I had a tivo!!). But, after some days off, I always really enjoy it again.

Gecko~ Thanks for the pizza crust suggestions. The only place I''ve heard of TJ''s is here, but I''m sure Walmart will have something along the whole wheat lines! I used to make individual pizzas, but DH started requesting 2 (for himself!!) so I cut back to one large one for the family! I think whole wheat would be more filling though because of the higher fiber. btw-my DH wears a tungsten band and he loves it! He quit wearing his "real" wedding band about a year ago.

Kathy~ Wow, sounds like you had a great holiday! I love to camp, but we haven''t been since we had JT. I don''t know how old he should be before we put him in a tent for the night! How old is your son? I''m sure you''ve said previously, but darned if I can remember!

Skippy~ You''re such a good and consistent walker! Kudos to you!!! JT''s surgery is the 22nd, he has to go in for blood work on the 8th.

Tacori~ 3 yr olds playing dr?!? whoa!

DF~ Great for maintaining weight during the festivities!!

Panda~ I need your mayo-free cole slaw recipe and your roasted tomatoes recipe, PLEASE!! I was just hunting for a good roasted tomato recipe this afternoon, but I''ve never made them before so I don''t know exactly what constitutes "good". You''re right about the boboli crust being a quick supper, too. I usually take dough out HOURS before I intend to make pizza so it can rise and all that stuff.

Steph~ Wow, amazing that you got all 3 little ones on the same napping schedule! I''m sure that was the only down time of your whole day!

Zoe~ Yay for a good class this year! I have several friends and family members who teach and it seems everyone is happy so far, but I think teachers are blessed with optimism and patience!! I have posted pics of JT before, but I took them down a few days ago. I figured if someone was trying to access actual "healthy" posts, he really didn''t count...

SDL~ Um, what''s fage??

Hi, Kimi! Glad you had a great time in Chicago!

Hi, DeeJay, Fieryred, Rod, Mara, Lorelei, Marcy, apple, vizsla, and any one who I may have missed!!

Have a great tomorrow!

Good Lord, I missed a day and there like a bazillion posts! I can''t possibly say hi to everyone individually, so a huge HEY TO EVERYONE. Yay for all the weight lost by everyone who posted they''ve lost some pounds! Yay for all the hard workouts and reduced waists Yay for the healthy meals eaten. And Yay for all the fantastic support everyone offers! Thanks for all the wishes for our safety in Florida. So far, so good, but there are still storms out there, so please keep the dust headed our way for the storms to fizzle out, or just go to sea and leave everyone alone!

Thanks for missing me Skippy!! I feel guilty when I don''t get a chance to check in.

I do have to say congrats to Love2Travel and make an observation. ANOTHER GUY ON THE HLT??!! THAT''S GREAT! Thanks......I''ve been like the only guy on these here parts for some time, so please stick around! And contrats on losing a pants size!

My day yesterday was just tooo looooong. I didn''t get to the gym until nearly 6:30 PM and did my full 3 hour thing, so by the time I got home and ate a salad and did the check work email thing, It was time to go to bed. Today was another long day, but I didn''t work out. Still, I didn''t get home till after 7, but Charlie got off at 5 and came home to fix a nice home cooked dinner of baked chicken thighs, rice and steamed veggies. It was a nice evening so we went out to Sbucks after dinner for a relaxing cup of coffee.

Tomorrow will be another ''uber'' long day as I''ll go to the gym right after work and won''t get home again until pretty late. I''ll do my best to check in then.

Things at work are still good, but kind of on the slow side this week.

Sorry for the quick check-in, but it''s about the best I can do tonight. See you tomorrow!

Loves2Travel, yay for the pant size going down!!!

Rod, don't feel guilty I know you are busy honey, don't worry about checking in if you can't!!

Hi everyone.
35.gif
I had class tonight and just got done grading papers.
Somethingshiny, your homemade pizza sounds great! I use Canadian bacon and pineapple on mine sometimes. I put pepperoni on Marty’s side. I always get the low fat cheese. Glad you got most of the ink out of your sofa.
Geckodani, I’ll have to try tomato paste on my pizza. How fun to hunt for the perfect solitaire.
Kathy, congratulations for being down some more pounds. I hope your zany life calms down soon.
Skippy, yay for your evening walks.
Tacori, if a baby or toddler is in pink you’d think people could figure that one out pretty easily.
Dragonfly, glad you had a marvelous time at the wedding and also got some nice family photos.
Panda, I hope your back is better by now.
Steph, I am sure you’ll lose some weight chasing after 3 kids. I just got tired thinking about it.
DeeJay, LOL at the dreadmill. You are too funny.
SanDiegoLady, it sounds like you are having great meals today.
Fieryred, that’s great to have a wellness lunch. It does sound good too.
Zoe, glad to hear your class seems like a nice one. I have only been to class twice so far so it’s too early to tell. Some of the students are really in to astronomy so that will help. I hate to be late too. My in-laws are notorious for it though. They are very nonchalant about plans and what time they’ll show up. I probably drive them crazy.
Kimi, it sounds like you had a great time on your trip and how fun to go jewelry shopping with our fabulously funny DeeJay.
Rod, you did have a long day yesterday. I am not looking forward to the next 16 Mondays. I work till 5 then have class from 6 to 9. Then I’ll have to come home and grade internet class papers. Aak! If being busy burns calories I’ll go drop a few pounds.
Take care.
Marcy

Hey all, I have been busy helping Hubby so getting my workouts in this way! The weather is supposed to be completely pants over the next few days, I am very grateful that we don''t get the dangerous weather in the UK that some of you have to face though.

Good morning!

Ack! Tacori, I meant to ask you last night how the DVD workouts were going. Sorry about that! I''m impressed that you''ve lost 40 pounds so far -- and it couldn''t have ALL been Tessa, you know! Good job!
1.gif

I have to run to school but I need to make lunch first. I think I''m going to pack a salad with Newman''s light cranberry walnut dressing, romaine, blueberries, turkey, and maybe a few almonds. Pretzels, yogurt, and a banana should hold me over until dinner.

Have a good day!

Skippy, glad I could enable
27.gif
I am still on level one with Bob. I am *SO* out of shape it is kind of pathetic. But it is my own fault.

SS, scary huh? They are building a tree house and my neighbor was teasing me that Tessa will have her first kiss there (she also has twin 8 month old boys). Does your little boy like Noggin? T is watching Blue''s Clue and dancing right now. So cute.

Rod, I cannot believe you work out for 3 hours! Crazy! You must be in awesome shape. Sorry your days are so long.

marcy, you *would* think
20.gif
it would be obvious. People are funny.

Lorelei, hope you find some time for yourself soon!

Zoe, I know 40 lbs is good. I wish I hadn''t gained so much to begin with! If I gained the "normal" amount I would be thin by now. Haha. Oh well. I think it is also hard b/c I haven''t lost any weight (beside the new recent few lbs) for like 4 months) I swear I did not eat nonstop while preggo either! But I felt so sick and first and then was SOOOO tired so my activity level was pretty much 0. I guess next time around I won''t have to worry about that (with T).

Hi all! I''m up a bit, but my rings are tight so I''m going to chalk it up to water weight and move on.
1.gif
I had my first piece of fruit in 2 weeks yesterday and I swear it tasted like candy!

Thanks to everyone that commented on my solitaire search. It should be fun, but it''s really just stressing me out.
7.gif
I want my ring back on my hand!

Funny thing about the tungsten band though - it was so heavy I had a hard time wearing it and ended up giving it to DH to wear as a pinkie ring, LOL! His wedding ring is tungsten so he was excited. I''ll wear it on vacation, but it''s too heavy for every day wear. For 20 bucks off ebay it was totally worth it though.

Panda - Love your Avatar!
5.gif
And dizzy is definitely the way to describe the solitaire hunt!

Steph - 3 kids at once? You''re my hero, LOL. I''m not that brave.

SDL - Mmmmmm. Fage! Love that stuff! You can mix SF/FF pudding mix into it too for some flavor.

fieryred- Awesome about the healthy lunches at work. Wish my job did that!

Zoe - I love the flowers in your avatar! They remind me of my wedding boquet!

Tacori - Wine is good for you... LOL.
9.gif

SS- I''m so glad my DH has a tungsten band - he would destroy anything else. Those buggers are HEAVY though!

Marcy - The tomato paste is kinda sweet on pizza, I really like the taste!

Lorelei- Our weather is insane. It was 93 degrees yesterday, then we had a torrential thunderstorm all night, now it''s 50, and it''s supposed to be 80 tomorrow. So weird.

Zoe The food journal is going. I made my first few entries this week. Yesterday my FI picked it up and penciled in a piece of Hershey''s Chocolate that I forgot to add in.
4.gif
. I''m glad to hear you are enjoying your new class!!

The wellness lunches are a pretty cool addition to our lunch menu. Sometimes its ok but sometimes its delicious!

Kim-Glad you had a great trip in Chicago. Calories don''t count while on vacation...or at least to me they don''t
3.gif

Tacori-You do deserve a break and your daughter is sooooooo cute. I
30.gif
the pics of her on your avatar
Skippy-I love eating outside. My FI doesn''t like it too much but I love it. On Sundays I''ll grab a cup of coffee and sit out there for a while. It''s very relaxing.
SS-Those potato wedges sound great. Have you tried sweet potato "fries" They serve them at work sometimes and they''re pretty good.
Rod-Don''t work too hard! It''s great that you''re still getting in your workouts during busy days
14.gif

Dani-$20 off of ebay!
6.gif
That''s awesome! LOL about the fruit. Sometimes I forget how yummy fruit can be
18.gif

hi everyone!!
ugh.. the weather is oppressively hot here in the mid-west! i''m trying not to complain too much because in a month i''ll wish it was a little warmer and 4 months from now i''ll curse the snow and gray days.

i decided to train for the half marathon again in april.. which means endurance running outside starts in january. i can''t believe i''m going to plan to run outside again in the freezing ice covered sidewalk weather, but man.. is it motivation to get out and do something. i had contemplated running the half in october, but that would have meant i needed to start training in july.. bleh!

last night hubby and i went out to din din at our fav. restaurant - quite a treat for a wednesday, but neither one of us felt like grocery shopping :P i had a glass of white wine and a flank steak salad.. OMG it was so good.. i''m going to try and recreate it at home! field greens, haricot vert, kalamata olives, yellow and red tomatoes, and goat cheese.. oh and thin thin thin flank steak! no dressing! i always ask for a lemon wedge and have found that after giving up dressing i really enjoy the *taste* of the salad so much more! most meat, grosses me out... but i try and get in some protein and red meat at least once a month.. it''s even more of a treat when someone else prepared it
16.gif

my workouts this week have been good - ran on monday, spinning on tuesday, yesterday was cardio, free weights, abs and today i''ll run and do some abs.

i have a gym at work and i''m able to work out during my lunch. i don''t know what i''d do if i had to schedule time for the morning or at night.. i''m so uber impressed with those who do!

good luck to everyone today who has WI! skippy i dream of taking 4 mile walks and having that beautiful scenery to look at! i have one word for my part of the country.. flat, flat, flat... booorrriinnngg!
3.gif

i think i''m going to check out that biggest loser dvd too! it sounds challenging and a great way to mix up workouts!
36.gif
36.gif
<---- to everyone on this journey! i found that it has it''s share of ups and downs, but hopefully more ups - right?
hurricanes stay away!!!! my in-laws have a place in sanibel and i always get nervous for the gulf-coast this time of year! tropical storm, tropical storm, tropical storm ;)
almost friday! yippee!

ohhh i just loooovvveee fage too!!!!
with a drizzle of honey and 2 tablespoons of granola...drool!
30.gif
18.gif

Happy Thursday all! I was rudely awakened this morning by someone from the gas company ringing my doorbell at just after 8:00 to do a safety check on the gas meter (it's in an inside closet). I was like, um, how did you get in here? (I live in a gated community and I KNOW security would not have allowed him in.) Apparently he came in through the loading dock exit at the back of my complex. Honestly, I can't even figure out how he fit that big gas company truck through that dock, but I guess if you drive one of those monsters around long enough you get good at fitting through tight spaces. Before I could even decide whether to let him in or not (not to mention securing The Demon and Oscar so that he left with all of his pieces intact if I did let him in) security from the guardhouse had dragged him off reading him the riot act about how this was not public property and he better get his heiney out of here NOW. When I looked out the window again he was gone. I ran into one of my neighbors from the other side of the courtyard at the gym and she said she saw him going down the row of houses ringing doorbells and I was the first one to answer. Lucky me for not having an office job...
20.gif

Anyway, I became somehow crazy motivated on the dreadmill this morning and ran a little bit. When I say a "little bit" BTW, I do mean a LITTLE bit. Only two 6 minute stretches during the entire 65 mins. And next to the spandex clad gazelle on the mill next to me I'm sure what I did looked like the geriatric shuffle, but I enjoyed it (in some sick painful way) while it lasted.

I've been good all week in anticipation of my birthday dinner tomorrow night. We're going to a restaurant that I haven't been to for probably five years, but I still remember the goat cheese topped fillet and the crispy potato things I had last time. Can't wait to see the menu tomorrow. And being my birthday, there WILL be dessert involved!
9.gif

Michelle and Vizsla, I think I am the only person on this board who doesn't like farge. I have tried every version (full fat, low fat, not fat) and put in everything you can think of and I just cannot eat it. There must be something wrong with me...

Fieryred, when I worked for a major financial institution Wolfgang Puck catered our cafeteria. I don't think any lunch I ever had there was good for me, but they were all *good*!

Gecko, add me to the list of people excited to see your new ring when the time comes!

Tacori, even though it's a slow slog I'm sure you will get those pounds off. And at least you have your beautiful princess to show for your curernt weight... I only have a landfill's worth of empty peanut butter cup wrappers!

Zoe, I must have missed this somewhere along the line but what do you teach?

Marcy, I am always so impressed when I read about your teaching. I was once roped into teaching a graduate level class called Legal, Ethical and Regulatory Issue in Financial Markets. Three hours twice a week for 12 weeks is a L...O...N...G time. At the end of the semester they asked me to do it on a regular basis. I was like, No Way Jose!!!

Skippy, did you get a nice long walk in last night?

Rod, I keep forgetting to email you, but Bill and I will be in your neck of the woods from the 20-26. Do you and Charlie have time to do dinner one night? We would love to see you again! And now, even though we have been going on vacation with my dad and his wife in Florida for about 10 years in a row, Bill associates that annual trip with having dinner with you guys.

Shiny, I'm so glad you got most of the pen out of your couch! When I was lin law school I feel asleep with an orange highligher in my hand and when I work up the bottom cushion of my couch was ruined. Fortunately I didn't get any on the back of the sofa so I just flipped the cushion over but it did not come out AT ALL.

Kimi, we've added Sixteen and Perennial to our list of "must gos." You know Bill; he always gets excited about a great new restaurant!

Panda, your pork chops sound yummy!

Dragonfly, it's sounds like the wedding was a great time!

Lorelei, pants weather all around. Been raining for two days here...

Hey, guys. Not too much to report today. Still watching the 3 kiddos until tomorrow. I didn't sleep well at all last night so I skipped my 5:30 am run, but am hoping to have the energy to do it tonight when Adam gets home from work. I really feel better when I get out and break a sweat, so I need to motivate myself. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well!

Apple, glad you didn't have bad weather!

Panda, yea for your Leon ring. I'm sure it will be fab!

Loves2travel, great job on the pant size loss!

Marcy, sorry everyone was grumpy at work yesterday. Hope everyone had a better day today.

Kathleen, yea for being down a few lbs!

Dragonfly, great job on maintaining while enjoying yummy food!

Skippy, haha the baby whisperer I like that! Who knows if I will have that kind of success again today. I think I just wore them out running around so they were all tired! Oh, thanks for the link to the article.

DeeJay, good for you for circuits. You are doing great!

SDL, I LOVE Fage w/ honey. I just eat too much of it though if I have it on hand. I can't stay away from that stuff!

Fieryred, that is great your office makes healthy options available!

Zoe, glad you love your class!

Kimberly, sounds like you two had a blast!

Tacori, enjoy your playdate....hmmm, sounds lots more fun than my usual playdates at the park!

Somethingshiny, sorry about the pen accident. Boys love to find trouble!

Rod, hope your day went well even though it was going to be "uber long".

Hey, Lorelei!

Gecko, I know...I am either brave or stupid for volunteering, but it hasn't been that bad....they are just wearing me out!

Vizsla, yea for the half marathon training. I am about to look for a 5k to sign up for soon. Maybe someday I can work my way up to the half marathon!

Dee - you lead a ver eventful life, don''t you? LOL!

Steph - Still... 3 kids at once... oy.

I can''t eat Fage plain - has to be sweetened. Or used instead of sour cream.

Yay I lost 1 lbs at my weigh this week!!! I am so happy, I thought I was going to weigh the same but was pleasantly surprise with a loss.
35.gif
I might take tonight off, I am hoping my biggest loser Sculpting dvd that Tacori enabled me to get comes in. If it does I will give you all a review!! hehe Oh I forgot, I am getting a haircut today, I rather go to the dentist than get a haircut but gotta do it.
Have a great day!!! Thanks everyone for being so inspiring everyone sounds like the are doing Fab-u-lous, kudos to all!!
36.gif

ZOEBARTLETT, Costco has a little food court, they have pizza, hot dogs, salads, turkey wraps, and a few other things. I guess after all the major shopping people are famished. LOL
2.gif
It is cheap too, hubby and I usually eat for $5 after spending $200. LOL
9.gif

SOMETHINGSHINY, eek to the pen, glad you got it out!!! Funny about the fries, sounds yummy! Yay for a new house!! congrats!

ROD, hope you are safe and the storm misses you all or dies down, sweetie!

MARCY hi there sugar! Glad you got your papers grade, I bet your students love ya!!!

TACORI, I bet your weight loss wasn't water weight! How are you sweetie? I bet I will be w/Bob for months! I am out of shape too, when it comes to weight lifting (my least favorite thing to do) but you Inspired me!!!
9.gif

LORELEI, yay for awesome workouts while helping hubby!

GECKODANI, do you live in the states? Glad you have a tungsten ring, so sorry about the other ring, sending you a hug!! Yum to fruit, I love it!!!

VIZSLA, you are a Superstar with you runs!!! wooo hooo! I don't blame you not liking grocery shopping, I always need something and someone is parked with their cart in front of what I need while yapping on their cellphone
14.gif
Yum to white wine and steak sald, sounds delicious and refreshing

36.gif
36.gif

and thanks skippy 1LB is FANTASTIC!
36.gif
36.gif

all of those long walks are paying off!!!!!
ugh i know... i loathe grocery shopping.. i buy the same things and make the same food every week ..... and when i *do* try and get creative i end up spending twice the amount of time shopping trying to find everything... ugh! plus DH eats like a little kid.. hello hot dogs and mac/cheese
3.gif
- so i have to buy him his food, and my food.. plus lunch stuff.. egh.. i know i haaaaave to go and i''m just dreading it.

enough venting... ;)

feeling better but still have a bit of dry cough...thats the worst part b/c its just annoying. I went to my PT today but operated at half capacity and my PT parter wasn''t feeling 100% either so our trainer kept it easy on us.

Yay SDL and Skippy on your losses!
dothewave.gif

Skippy - Yeah, I live in Michigan. Crazy weather in this state!

Feel better Appletini!

Hi Everyone!
35.gif

My back''s feeling better today... just in time to have my trainer kick my booty tonight!
3.gif
Had sashimi for dinner last night, so tasty! I''ve been trying to cut back on the carbs at dinner during this initial phase to jumpstart my weight loss. Didn''t make it to the gym last night but managed to squeeze in a 45 min. walk around the neighborhood with my honey and the dogs.

Had my first conversation with Leon this morning about my ering. I wanted to clarify a couple of things on my work order. I was all nervous, fearing that he''s a prima donna and wrote down everything I was going to say. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. He was totally friendly, answered every question I had and gave me opinions on ideas. I can''t wait to see how it turns out!

SDL and Skippy, congrats on your weight loss at the WI today!!! That is awesome!!!
yippee10.gif

Zoe, it''s great that you have a class you like this year! What grade do you teach? My honey''s a 4th grade teacher
1.gif
I have to confess, I''m not opposed to cake but I''m not a big dessert fan. I know, most people look at me like I''m insane when I say that. I''m all about the salt. If I had to choose between a plate of fries or a plate of cake, it would be fries every time.

Tacori, YAY for those lost pounds this week!
36.gif
36.gif
You''re working hard... you deserve a break at your playdate.

SS, glad you made it through your busy "water" day
3.gif
Your oven fries sound heavenly. I''ll post the cole slaw recipe and roasted tomatoes recipes when I get home tonight. They''re super easy and my honey raved about how good it tasted!

Wow, 3 hours at the gym, Rod! You''re an animal

Hi Marcy! Thanks, my back is doing better.

Hi Lorelei and Kim!

Geckodani, you can be up a little, down a little. You have a great attitude about it! Hope you find your perfect solitaire soon. Can''t wait to see it!

Vizsla, that''s awesome that you''re going to train for a half marathon! I can only dream of running one mile! LOL! That steak salad sounds delish! I actually have something like that planned for tonight''s dinner.

Dee*Jay, yeow, what a rude awakening this morning! Two 6 minute stretches of running during a 65 min workout on a treadmill sound pretty good to me! I''m with you about Fage. I tried it several times and just can''t get into it.

Steph, you''re super mom and deserve to sleep in once in awhile!

Apple, glad you''re feeling better!

Hope everyone''s having a great day!

Panda - Dang I wish I had the budget for Leon, LOL! I''m sure your ring will be gorgeous! Thanks for the comment about my attitude.

I try to stay real about it, LOL.

HI:

Hey gangaronni!

Kudo''s to those losing and those maintaining.

The weather has been pants on and off, so I get out when I can to run. I want to maximize those outside activities since being stuck indoors in my neck of the woods comes too early as far as I am concerned!

Had my annual physical and my weight is the same as always (112 lbs.) I am healthy and feeling very well and have discovered LIberte yougert...which is devine!

Anyway, keep well!

cheers--Sharon

Playdate went well. T is a social butterfly. She seriously played the whole time and tried to engage the other babies (who only wanted to engage with their moms) Poor thing takes rejection well

geck, there was actually no wine this time and since I had chips I passed on the cookies.I tried to have SOME self-control.

fiery, thanks! How funny about your FI. I just write the calories not the food. Somehow makes me feel better to just see numbers.

viz, sounds like you are doing great! When does "The Office" start back up anyways?

Dee*Jay, you are so funny. Sounds like you are doing great though.

Steph, the other girl always has booze. This was with a different group...more G rated I guess

SDL, yay on the 2.1 lbs!!! That''s awesome. Did you find a place to stay in SC BTW?

Skippy, I am glad I inspired something positive for a change

Let me know how you like it. Congrats on the weight loss too!!!

Panda, thanks! So jealous of your Leon. Fries are a TOTAL weakness for me too

Apple, hope you are doing well.

Rod, I know you said you are having a long day. Hope it''s going well!

Sharon, *sigh* I will NEVER be your size again. Good for you for maintaining so well!

Hi All,

I''m a space cadet today, very sleepy, so forgive me for missing a bunch of stuff...

Panda, so glad your back feels better.

Hooray for lots of good weigh ins (mine isn''t so hot! too much good food in Chicago!).

Dee, I hope you enjoy them both, we were very impressed. I didn''t love Topolo though, I was actually a wee bit disappointed.

Skip, I think it was you who asked what I''m reading. I''m 1/2 way through Dear American Airlines by Jonathon Miles and I am loving it.

Apple, glad you''re feeling better.

Hi to everyone else, I''m headed back to my couch, sad to say. I''m having a difficult time keeping my eyes open.
