Hi Kids!
Happy Birthday, Dee Jay! I hope your cake was covered in sparkling diamonds. Ewe, think of the grease from the frosting that clouded up those pretty diamonds.
If Marty heard on his tests today, I didn't hear back from him. He got up at 1:30 with really bad pain in his lower back. He took his third and last antibiotic before heading to the airport at 6 a.m. He doesn't feel worse, but he doesn't feel better. He arrived in Kansas City before noon and headed to work. Poor guy is going to be so run down when he gets home next weekend. I was up most of the night worrying about him.
Sweet you found the purple glasses and got them out the door. One less thing to deal with now.
That's awesome Liam surprised you with roses, alcohol and dinner. What more could a girl ask for?
Your post-its are quite nice. I hope the cork screws are as well.
Yay for birthday happy hour. I am debating going out for something, door dashing something or seeing what I can scrounge up out of the freezer.
You can't complain about selling some holiday stuff already. I can't believe we are in September. I hope the website works out great for you.
So I was up at 1:30, tried to fall asleep again which I did at about 4. I woke up before 5 and thought of getting up, but didn't. I should have because if I fell asleep between than and 5:30 when my alarm was set for, it wasn't a deep sleep. And it was too late to see the dim comet. Marty left a little after 6. Brave guy, even ate some breakfast at the airport before boarding. He made it to KC without incident. The airport "announced" an IT issue after deplaning and shut down inbound flights for 45 minutes. He was delighted to see his suitcase was on the carousel when he arrived at baggage pick-up. I guess the other guys going for this, weren't going to rent cars (or so he thought) so he was going to get a big SUV as a rental.
I was very tired all day on little sleep, but still worked. Wish I believed in naps - technically - I wish I could take naps.
Laters,
Curby
