Hi all. Back from a short vacation down to Florida for a wedding and a trip to the bf''s mom. All seemed to go well, I even tried on a ring in front of her and she seemed happy!
So, I never really considered an assher cut for some reason. I mean, they are ridiculously beautiful, but I kind of like more traditional... or so I thought. The bf, his mom and her bf were at an antique show on Friday night. There was lots of jewelry there to say the least. We all gathered around this one display because the bf''s mother saw this beautiful ring she wanted to try on. In the same case was the biggest, most beautiful assher cut I have every seen. It was an 8+ carrat assher with bullet sidestones. It looked so nice on my hand. Not like a doorknob which is what I thought such a big ring would look like. So, down to the question... the ring was extremely sparkly, which asshers and emeralds are not known for. I was wondering if people could post pictures of their assher rings and let me know if they are sparkly or if this one was just because of the size and lighting?
Thanks for all of your help!
