I like the looks of the stone on the right. But part of me would prefer a J stone to an L. But they look similar in the video

Sorry to keep you hanging, I’m still waiting!! Soon hopefully! I made some last minute changes to keep the shank totally plain. It’s going to be a super simple setting because I just couldn’t make up my mind otherwise. I will probably reset it in the near future after I wear her a while and decide for sure what suits the stone. Stay tuned!!

Yes I agree. I guess she made it a bit taller for durability. The top down view the width looks fine but from the side it looks too tall.

Alright! She is here! I am happy with the setting, for now, but definitely intend to reset at some point. Some random cell phone snaps, sorry if they’re blurry.

I think the setting looks beautiful. Elegant and versatile. The prongs look perfect. What is it that bothers you?

Yes I was originally hoping for a little bit of antique detail. I wouldn’t say it bothers me exactly. It’s just very simple. But maybe that is what suits the stone/my style best, I’m not sure yet! I’ve thought about stacking another band with it as well. Maybe that would help.
 
@lindsaylove, your ring is absolutely beautiful! The diamond is big and gorgeous, and I love the setting too. It lets your amazing diamond be the star of the show. I understand you might want something different but in the meantime this is a beautiful look! Looks perfect on your hand.
 
I love the simplicity of the setting - really shows off the diamond! I wouldn’t change a thing - beautiful!!
 
She’s a stunner! I also like the setting. Give yourself time to play around with wearing it with different bands and if you wear watches / bracelets.

I think your setting is lovely, and it’ll give you tons of time to think of a final setting. I’ve found DK does beautiful work but he’s not a ring designer. I love my setting by him but I also know it’s not its forever setting and that’s ok. Your setting right now I think showcases your diamond (which is insanely gorgeous too!) beautifully and it’ll be so versatile to mix and match with different bands.
