Did he charge you more than what he quoted Cspan for the stone?
That’s a bit higher value than I would expect a vendor to ask you to keep it - assuming he could sell again for that roundabout price.

Hope you are made whole - it does suck it might take some time to clear though.

I paid $775 for the stone altogether. He seems really nice so I just thought it was really good customer service or something?

I blocked him last night on Instagram. I feel really uneasy about the whole transaction. I’m sure if you wanted to move forward with the stone he would probably demand I return it and try to cancel his refund through PayPal..

@emegumi FWIW, some vendors send extra "goodies" with purchased stones. I've received various gems/jewelry from all sort of sellers, both from IG and regular US sellers on our list.

I've had no problem getting Mr Spinel to reply and post photos/videos. He can even be chatty! I'll tell him to step-up his game.
