HELP HELP!! Jeweler recommendations for setting? Urgent!!

Hello all, I'm looking for a jeweler in NYC to make a setting for my stone. It's a 3-carat G Oval and I want a rose gold halo setting like this:

(I saw this post a while ago and immediately fell in love with the setting. I wanted to get the exactly same one for my Oval)

I have two considerations:

1) I want to get it done ASAP, the latest by end of next week (since i'm traveling abroad on 6/30 and I want to bring it with me); &
2) I hope to keep the price under $2k.

I spoke to a few jewelers and none can meet both conditions. ERD can get it done by next week but it costs $3k. Another jeweler quoted me $1350 but it would take 3 weeks.

I know you guys know much much more than I do, can you please give me some suggestions?????? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Go with ERD. You won't get that quality for $2000 and you'll be very sorry if you go with cheap pave because it will be a major headache when stones fall out, etc. That is a miracle in itself that they can make the setting that fast. Typical custom is 4-6 weeks!!! Call them back now!!!

(Other fine pave masters in nyc like Steven Kirsch would charge $4-5k for that setting and take a few weeks!)

+2 Perhaps ERD can ship it to you to your adress abroad? It will be well wordth the extra wait.

Go ERD! That is NOT a $1350 setting. Dont even waste your money. The quality will not be there.

Since you are in such a time crunch you might consider having it set in a simple $200 gold solitare setting for your trip. Then when you
get back you can do your research and get the setting done right. You can trust ERD however if $3k is too much you need more time
to figure out what to do. This is not the time to be in a rush.

Also keep in mind that the NYC shuts down for the first 2 weeks of July, so everyone is busy and rushing to get work done. Honestly, I second god advice to get a simple setting now and go custom later. You will regret rushing a custom job.

Edit: I would recommend ERD for this project, especially bc they did your inspiration ring.

If you want exactly like the inspiration ring, go with ERD. And honestly, I would not trust anywhere that could get that done for under 2k, because I don't think the quality would be there.
