Hi everyone, I'm back! I'm starting to shop around for wedding bands and I am so confused. What do you feel would go best with my ring? I am open to anything (pave, five stone, eternity, mismatch, etc), I just dont want a band to sit flush (custom to fit) with the eRing because i plan to wear the band alone on a day to day basis.

I've attached some photos!20140422_164428.jpg

Beautiful ering

A one row 'matching' pave eternity would be stunning.

Do you like engraving? An engraved platinum band could also be stunning.

I would not recommend to wear a five stone: it will be great as a standalone ring but I am afraid it will overwhelm your lovely ering. And if I understand your post correctly, you want to wear the band as a standalone as well as stacked with your ering?

thank you! yes I want to be able to wear it both ways.

I third those suggestions! LLJ you are too funny

If you want to wear as a stand alone or as a set I would stick with either the engraved band or pave. Just hop over to a jewelry store and try them both on to see what you like. They you can start looking online for what is out there. I would probably do one of each but have them been thin as I like that look.

thank you for your suggestions! do you think that a thin eternity band, (maybe like 2 ct with 10 pointer stones or even smaller but not pave) would overwhelm my ring? I love the pave band as a set but I'm not too crazy about it on its own. I dont know how a thin eternity would look with it but wanted to get some more thoughts. maybe i'll scour PS for some pics of something similar. and I think i'll definitely get an engraved band as well!!

Yes I do think that would overpower your ring. I don't love the idea.

What about a stack. Get a plain pave AND an engraved one. Or a plain pave and bezel band. Or a twisty one like from tiffany in a fun gold color.

Something where alone it'll still look substantial

hi again everyone! I did some window shopping and feel a thin pave does look best with my eRing, though I don't prefer it on its own, so I might just end up getting two! :twirl: :twirl: :twirl: in any case I have a few months to decide.

i tried on this pave (in platinum) at tiffany and it looked great with my ring

so i figure i'll get something similar from my jeweler

just as an aside, how do we feel about this piece? I think its so interesting, i'm curious to see how it would look with my eRing, but I was more just considering it as a second wedding ring to wear alone.

I think a thin pave band would be perfect with your ering! The princess band is very pretty and would make a great stand-alone ring - I think it will be too high and wide to wear with your ering though, it measures over 4 mm wide.
