I found this piece while out on a walk. I was wondering if anyone knew what the green gemstone was a long with the likelihood of the diamond being real. It also like people opinions of the value of the piece. It says Rmn on back of gem along with 14k/Italy and 6861a on the other sides. Any info would be greatly appreciated.20240903_151541.jpg

Here's a higher quality photo of the gemstone. Any idea what kind it could be?

Maybe you deleted a post from yesterday on r/whatsthisworth because that is the only hit I find for these search terms. "Italy" and "14K" are great signs so I suspect the diamond is real (good news) but so small as to be of minimal value (bad news). The stone is very pretty. I would have guessed tourmaline but it's nice and "open" in your second post which argues against that, as does the blue-green rather than yellow-green. It could be emerald -- most likely a treated one. I think it's potentially worth something.

Sounds like you have your story lined up for when you pawn it. :cool2:

The diamond looks real. The green stone might be a lab-grown emerald or green tourmaline.
