I'm thinking of putting a diamond on hold. It's a 2.5 K VS2 here are the specs:
the problem is, I put the dimensions on a website called diamonddb.com and it told me the depth was bad on this stone. Please shed some light on this because I do love it.

Shape: Round
Carat Weight: 2.50ct
Color: K
Clarity: VS2
AGS Cut Grade: Ideal
Optical Symmetry: Premium
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Fluorescence: None
Culet: None
Lab Report: AGS
In House: No
Width: 8.75mm
Length: 8.84mm
Depth: 5.39mm

Table Percentage: 56.00%
Depth Percentage: 61.30%
Crown ∠: 34.60°
Pavilion ∠: 41.00°

No. Don't pay attention to that.

It's not too deep AT ALL.

It's got a great depth. And ideal light return. I've been on that website and their diamond analysis tool SUCKS. Big time.

That diamond is very likely to be gorgeous. Can you get an idealscope image from the vendor?

You don't really need one with an AGS0. But some people prefer the additional certainty they provide. https://www.pricescope.com/wiki/diamonds/firescope-idealscope

I'd be okay buying an AGS0 with those proportions without one, personally.

Curious about your post, I checked out the site **edited by moderator, no affiliate link websites please**

It seems to be an affiliate site, with a focus on surface-description of various shapes. Entering the data of your diamond, the result was 'adequate', not the 'bad', which you mentioned.

I wonder if you entered a typo when checking yourself.
