It’s been about 6 years since this forum helped me find my 2 ct radiant engagement ring that I still love today. I’ve always wanted diamond studs and have recently gotten excited about the value I can get by going the lab-created route.
Here is what I’m looking for:
- between 1 ct and 1.5 ct for each earring
- 4 prong basket setting with dainty prongs that don’t distract from the diamond (not sure why, but the basket seems to look better than martini setting on my earlobe and not “tip down”)
- fiery, super sparkly diamonds that have H&A’s
- budget is to be under $2,000
- diamonds that match very well (I think it would drive me crazy if color, cut, or size was different between the two.)
Do you all recommend I source my own diamonds? Whiteflash seems to maybe be out of budget? Maybe I should look at JA or Adiamor? What about this Alex Park I’ve read on this forum about?
I want to maximize both value and quality, and you all are the experts to help!
