LFC, it looks great on you, what an excellent choice! I have been hankering after a Tiffany piece recently, the silver equestrian charm bracelet, so I hope I can get it sometime.

Thanks Lorlei

I like the charms there too, but my Grandma bought one when I was 12 and put about 10 nice charms on it over the years, I need to figure out where that was put when my parents remodeled.

It looks lovely on you! What a great piece!

It looks great on you.

Thanks Miranda and Addy. I am excited to wear it this weekend out.

Great choice, it really does look nice on you and I know with how shiny it is, it is sure to make a statement!

Thanks a lot.

You know what? I saw a woman today wearing an e-ring that looked almost like the one in you aviator, except it was an aqua in the middle. Reminded me to tell you you have a very pretty ring.

Oh, you know, that''s a ring I WANT!!! It''s from a jeweler in the UK. It''s a bezel pink tourmaline surrounded by baguette diamonds. I told the bf that I wanted that ring for our 15 year anniversary - unfortunately our financial priorities are elsewhere... I told the designer that I will be contacting him about it - possibly in the future - and he told me for 15 years, it should have that big of a diamond in it! I must say, I agree with the man!

Love it!!! I wouldn''t have picked it out of the catalog probably ... but now that I see it on you - PERFECTION! Classic but modern & you won''t see it on everyone else coming & going (hopefully! knock on wood! maybe you''ll make it the next "bean" or "cock-eyed heart")

sorry about that. I hope you are able to get that ring when the time is right.

decodelighted: Thanks...who knows how trends will work out. The sales lady told me that Drew Barrymore wears it in the size that I have, she is probably a bigger trend setter than me. I think I know what heart necklace you are talking about. I bought it for my sister....and she lost it

HI:

Not a problem!

I''m going through a doctoral program right now that sucks all of our cash, so no worries...but I am working on it. I actually really like the attached ring (just a mere $27,500 - sure he needs a car, but I need that rock more!) that was posted on another thread - I love this 3.98ct old mine engagement ring at doverjewelry! I told my bf that the longer he waits, the bigger the rock...and he better or else!!!!

I''m just scared I''ll be 100 years old with a 10ct diamond ring on my wrinkled finger!

Hmmm...what is proper etiquette around here? Should I not have an avatar with a ring that I don''t have...or does it matter? Sorry to post a question here that is not related!

Ltlfirecracker, I love your new necklace!

Elegant: I have not been around long enough how things work. But I have seen other people put pics of rings they want up here. I *love* that OMC, that is one killer stone. My BF would laugh in my face if I even thought about anything that cost almost 30k.

TanDogMom: Thanks a lot. I posted something for you on your sapphire thread

Thanks Dreamgirl, I am hoping to wear it tomorrow

I love the necklace you chose. It''s classic and clean looking, very elegant! Those Tiffany ladies really know how to sell you what you wanted all along, don''t they? When I went to buy my first piece, I went into the store wanting the square cut celebration ring, but the saleswoman told me right off the bat I should get the round diamonds because they sparkled so much more. And I''ve never been sorry that I went with her suggestion. The next year I went back and got another just like it, and this year I completed my stack ring set by sandwiching an OGI horizontal baguette band between the two Tiffany round-cut diamond bands (all are channel set in platinum and 3mm in width). I''d post a picture but all I have is my cell phone camera and it does not take clear up close shots of my jewelry. Anyway, enjoy your new Tiffany piece.
