Hi all
So, I'd like to buy a stone in the next week or so and I'm looking for recommendations for specific stones. The setting will be a solitaire 6 prong white gold. My budget is $15k-$20k for the stone and I'm looking for a 1.5-1.9 carat round. Fluorescence is okay for me too.
Thanks in advance!

Also, I suggest platinum for the setting, given your budget.

No they are both gorgeous. I really like the 6 prong solitaires at Brian Gavin, they have a lot of high quality selection in 6 prongs. Plus it is larger.

But the GOG stone is gorgeous, only slightly smaller, higher color and more budget friendly. AND if you go with GOG you can get THIS setting which is probably one of my all time favorite 6 prongs, and Mark Morrels workmanship is exquisite and worth the money.

(Are you CERTAIN she wants a round diamond in a solitaire though? You've checked with her that this is exactly what she wants? Or if not with her then with her Pinterest Account, or her Mother, cousin, Bestfriend, sister... whoever to make sure you are choosing what she wants???).

Good Old Old and Whiteflash are both Vatche vendors. So you can get the setting and band from them.

The GOG looks much better, and it's 2 color grades higher for the same $$$.

these are both the same color grade (G), right? Thanks for the feedback! I do have a hold on the GOG one; the price is $16,938. Is that a fair/good price?

I think you're getting what you're paying for, which is a very nice stone.
