Re: HELP - The ultimate engagement ring challenge! 1.7+ RB $
It's all about context . This is my caution:
But while pretty, it doesn't work well, IMO, for a person who, like your lady, likes a Novo and expects a modern faceted cushion as the center stone. It's a very unique and DIFFERENT look the antique cushions have and all I am saying is when you say she loves the Novo-- to me that says-- stick to modern cushions cause antique cushions like the AVC are very different breed of cushion. It's like asking for a Doberman and getting a Min Pin. Now both are dogs, and a Min Pin is a great dog, looks just like a Doberman just much smaller-- and it behaves differently. And people react to them differently. No one runs from a min pin (except cats). That's the same thing with these diamonds. They are both cushions... but if you want and are expecting a doberman you may not be won over by the "but it's a mini pin, see how cute?" argument. And again, this is for her.

It works very well for a person who loves antique cushions on pave bands and wants one. There's nothing wrong with it for that situation, and if fact it's a perfect ring for that person.KTM9fiddy|1336901010|3194202 said:
