Thanks @eapj! It measures 21mm or .82 in across. Nice presence, but still a dainty look, imho. It also has a nice weight to it since I used a heavier gold chain - 6.68g is the weight for the entire piece.

My fundraising isn’t complete yet, so I’m planning to list another item this weekend. I thought I’d give everyone on PS a preview and first dibs.

It’s an art deco cuff bangle conversion. The face is 90/10 platinum and the cuff is 18k white gold. There are .50ctw in OECs and .25ctw square cut natural sapphires. Very wearable piece, but I don’t find myself wearing it enough.

If anyone’s interested, I can post on LT or you can email me directly from one of my other listings.

What size wrist does it fit? Can you take a pic of the other side?

Hi @PintoBean! I took a few quick shots of the back and from the top. It’s currently made to fit a 6.25” wrist, but I’ve found it’s flexible and has a bit of give. So, it should work for 6-6.5 wrists. If anyone needs it sized, I can reach out to Amy to inquire about it since they did the conversion for me originally.

Edited to add - the piece weighs 6.97grams

I'm interested in doing a conversion myself. How many inches long was your pin when straight?
How much does DK charge to bend it and add the metal bangle part?

The brooch was 2.5”, but you can choose almost any length and build off of it. When I had first asked about doing a project like this, I was quoted $600 and up, depending on which metal type is used to create the cuff and what’s involved in reworking the brooch/pin I selected. According to DK, the conversion on this was a little more tricky than usual because of all the set stones and filigree work. So, the price went up accordingly.

Definitely use a wider net! I would snap photos of several brooches I had in mind and send them over to DK to see which options worked best. Not all are good candidates, I found.

The whole piece is still flexible and DK had told me you want it to have some give or risk it snapping/breaking. While it doesn’t come out of round, I’ve found I needed to gently squeeze it or shape it after putting it on/taking it off.
