Can someone please give me advice on this diamonds cut. GIA certificate details are listed below along with seran report details. In my opinion from my research I feel this diamond is an amazing cut.... the only flaw I see in the cut is the crown hieght is a tiny bit to small and the crown angle is a tiny bit small also. Could someone please advise me on this diamonds cut and let me know why it is good or bad. Also the diamond is $8371 out the door, so could someone also advise meif this is a good deal greator okay deal. In my eyes I think this is a good deal becuase it is difficult to find an almost perfectly square princess cut with such large dimensions and in my opinion a great cut (I could be wrong).Thank you

Hi Joey,

It looks promising, the crown height could be higher certainly but what would help would be images such as ASET and detailed photos. Have you seen the diamond in person or is it with an online vendor?

Its actually in my posession, I just didn''t have an ASET scope at the time of purchase. I can still return it if I really needed to, but I like the diamond and the one thing I noticed that was a defeciency is the crown hieght and angle was a little small, but that is a novice opinion and was just trying to get any better qualified opinions on the cut and price.

The main thing is if you like the diamond, the crown height could be higher but it is in acceptable range in my opinion, it is difficult to say anything else without images but from what I can tell in my non expert opinion the diamond has a good cut - if you aren't sure then take it to an independant appraiser within the return period to get an impartial pro opinion on your purchase, here is a tool you can use to find an appraiser in your area.
