I have a gold bracelet that I received from a family member that passed away that I was not close with and didn't really know. I have never worn it. It has been sitting for years in my safe. I know it is gold but unsure of the karat. It does match the richness in color of my 20k band. It is 7.5 inches long and 1 inch wide, and weighs 56 grams. I cannot make out the mark. It came from France. Has anyone sold anything similar? Or know what something like this would be worth? I did a Google image search but it's all over the place. It is a beautiful buttery gold but I don't find bracelets flattering and it is large on me.

I see the two eagle head marks there on the clasp. It's likely 18k. Absolutely love it!!

I have been trying to figure that out. I couldn't make out the marks. Thank you! I love yellow gold but not bracelets. I thought about scrapping it but then feel guilty about ruining the piece.

No, you should sell that. It's a substantial piece, but appears to be in immaculate condition. It would be so sad to scrap it!! Maybe consider consigning to the likes of JbG, or one of the popular IG vendors? At 56g, it won't be in everyone's wheelhouse, but it could well find an enthusiastic new owner.

The craftsmanship is amazing. I think it’s worth consigning to sell as it would be a shame to scrap it.

Thank you for your help. I belive I am going to list it for sale. Confirmed to be 18k by a local jeweler. I appreciate your feedback.

It is amazing how it is all woven and linked together. I am going to list it so it doesn't get destroyed.

I contacted a trusted IG Seller to ask about selling or consigning. She recommended listing on ebay for $4800 and not taking an offer below $3640 (the gold worth). Here is the ebay listing. I will definitely take offers from PS members if anyone is interested in this type of bracelet.
