HELP WITH PRINCESS!!! Final decision!

Hey guys,

I would love to hear your opinions on these 2 princesses form GOG. I have been looking for some time and have narrowed it down to these 2:


The first is an AGS0 0.77ct

Second is an AGS0 0.85ct

So, do you think the 0.85 is worth the extra cost? They both are top class stones and face up the difference is extremely small. What do you think?

The diamonds are both beauties, it depends on you and your budget, if you can afford the larger one without financial strain then you could do so if you like the idea of a little extra carat weight. Do you have a preference?

From the info on the website I dont have a preference. I have asked GOG to send me a video of the 2 under normal/spot light/fire and scintillation conditions so I can make a decision.

The money would come in handy...

But I can afford both.

They both look like total stunners, but 2 aspects in particular will give them different personalities. Most obvious to me is the difference in table shape/size. But also when you look at the AGS reports, the first one appears to be a 4-chevron princess and the second one a 3-chevron. I believe that should translate into smaller "pinfire" flashes in the first and broader, fewer flashes in the second. The first diamond may look a little busier or have more of a crushed-ice appearance (which I love in a princess!). This is all speculation on my part; the visual difference may be negligible. This is where the video should be helpful. Please post a link when you get it!

That sounds great, Jstar and I will be eagerly awaiting the video! You might want to pop both diamonds on hold to prevent them being snatched by lurkers while you decide, this is happening more frequently these days.
