If you''re dealing with just food stains read this...
Okay, since my husband is a "true grease monkey" (he has 13 messy, gross locomotives) always comes home with something nasty on him. I can''t get him to wear anything suitable so we started shopping at the local thrift store for jeans and t-shirt (his prefered train fixing attire) Hey, he''s the owner, he can wear whatever. argh.
Unfortunately I''m the one left to get out all the mess and grease though and I swear by that oxyclean stuff, plus reg detergent (costco big bucket brand) . I add two scoops to each of his laundry batches and soak for 30 min then wash as normal. Grease is gone, whites are white and his nasty grimey jeans can go another round!
Previous to using the oxy stuff I used equal amounts of HOT water, Tide and bleach then scrubbed into the stains, then washed as normal.
Not many can beat the grease I get to see, be thankful!
