Help With Studs

Hi All,

I am interested in getting some studs as my next project. I was browsing through some of the threads and found this style below that I really like. My question is - if I want at least the appearance of a 2 carat spread, what is the smallest carat size for the single stud and then what size for the diamonds in the jacket? Also, who would make something like this? I don't need certified diamonds, I don't think...I just need excellent cut and maximize size on a budget.

IDJ jackets are nice. I tried my 2ctw studs in them and almost went blind .

So if you want a spread of 2ct stone in each ear, that's about 8.1mm diameter. The jackets come in various size stones so you just have to decide which look you like. I think they had 3 and 5 pointers but there might be other sizes. Bigger or smaller halo stones vs center stone.
