Hi Marjan! I''m getting a pear cut too for my engagment ring...I was planning on staying between the 1.5-1.75 ct. range...I was wondering what ring size you are?? In the pics, the 1.53 ct looks nice I have a size 4 ring size. Thanks!

Hi Vetrogrl -

My ring size is a 6.5 or 6.75 and my pear (@ 1.5) looks larger to me than I expected, even with my being 8 mos pregnant! I think that a similar sized stone (or bigger) would look beautiful and big on your size 4 finger. WoW!

I posted this in my ring thread but wante to be sure you saw it so I am posting it here too.

I love your ring, stone and setting. It is a beautiful pear, perfect shape, not too long, too fat or skinny,just perfect.... have you thought about some baby pear bezeled or drop earings to go with the ring? LOL ...that is what comes to mind when I saw your ring. I love your setting too, simple yet elegant but very unusual.

Just saw that you are pregnant too, congrats on the baby, you are so blessed,a new ring and soon a baby, life is sweet.Take care of yourself and enjoy every moment of it.
