If he''s been posting here asking for advice, I''m sure that someone''s made sure that he''s asked about eye cleanliness. I wouldn''t worry about it.

I''m feeling *so so so* much better, but I''m still staying out of work today. I don''t want to pass anything on to my kids and I want to have another day of resting so I don''t relapse over the weekend. And, there''s a co-worker is getting married tomorrow, and I''d hate to miss it. *They''ve been dating 13 years, since she was 15!* Anyway, it''s been fun watching her and helping her with all the steps along the way toward a wedding, and a marriage. Her pre-marital counseling was *long*!! I mean, it was supposed to be eight sessions, but it ended up being like twelve or fourteen. Something like that. Her soon-to-be husband took everything *very* seriously and wanted to fully delve into each topic their pastor brought up. I think that''s cute.

Oh, maybe I''ll start another thread on pre-marital counseling.

In case you can''t tell, I''m tired of staying in just one thread, and I''m trying to re-work things without lying to Paul and just popping into all of them. Once you feel like you *know* someone, to a degree, at least, you want to read more about them. I feel like following people who come talk to me. I really want to follow you and Anchor and Julie, because I know you three know what Paul''s been saying, and if I just reviewed where you''ve been, I''d find him. Although, I think I know his screen name now anyway.

Now, I''m *very* proud of myself for not snooping, but I did know that he must have posted something in this forum, because I was told at first to stay here, then to only stay in *my* thread. And mostly, I have (except for when I''ve been pre-approved to go somewhere else). But, I do see the threads that come up on the main page, and yesterday I saw something that looked totally like a name he''d give himself.

I''m betting it''s him. I think I know it, even. But I''ve not gone there. Promise.

Indecisive, I''m serious when I say I''m trying to be good. I just get bored being here sick, and I saw yesterday someone reply to a thred he''d started *I think.* And I''d not seen it before, and when I saw the screen name, I was like, "ooh, that''s him."

I called him and asked if it was him, but he said he''d never tell. But I think I heard him chuckle a little, so I''m relatively sure it is him. He told me not to read anything that hasn''t been pre-screened and to leave it at that, and that he''ll trust me. I''m trying hard here!

Oh yeah, he also said that nothing really states anything obvious about the ring, just that he has a lot of options and advice from some very sweet people. *He was sucking up to you all through me, I''m sure, since he knew I''d post this!*
 
Hey! So guess what? Jamie just emailed me, well, really it came yesterday, but I didn''t notice it until just now. She said the J and the I were good. The thing is, the J sold on Wednesday! haha...

Anyway, she did add a note at the bottom saying to call when we''re ready to move forward with the purchase. I guess that means Paul''s not bought yet.

I was just kidding fisher! I would have such a hard time staying out if my boyfriend were posting about when/how he was going to propose... I want my ring!! I know you had your heart set on the .42 but you really can''t tell how sparkly it will look from the picture. The idealscopes of all the diamonds you guys were looking at are great though and those show light return/leakage. Be glad your boy found PS!

I tried to get him to tell my best friend... no such luck! heehee... I know, I know, he''s not dumb, but I couldn''t help trying!

You know, I knew there was a high probability that he''d *not* purchased one of the diamonds yet, but when I got that email from Jaime, confirming it, gosh, it really made my heart sink. That''s not to say that I don''t think it will come, I know it will. That''s my boy, for life! And I''m his girl, for life. But golly, I want that life to go ahead and start already!

By the way, I''m feeling *SO* much better now! I even ventured outside to let Flipflop take a little walk, poor girl''d been neglected yesterday and she just looked at me so sad this morning. I''m not even a little bit dizzy, either! Yay!
 
Haha, no, we *really* don''t know more than you do about when he''s going to propose! I think he was originally aiming for April, like he told you, and then he ran into car problems and had to postpone buying the ring, like he told you. And since you''ve started posting, he''s stopped telling us anything substantive! You two better give us aaaallll the details when it really happens.

And don''t go snooping!

actually Fisher....you ruined the fact that we all enjoyed hearing all the stories from him....from a guy''s perspective...and he always refers to you in such a loving, caring and sweet way.....we were all like "awwww.....how cute", etc etc...

But it''s ok!!!! It''s kind of cool to now see it from your side (since we don''t hear much from him anymore...at least I don''t!)...

So at the end you didn''t ruin the story...we just feel like we are in the middle of the story making which is pretty sweet!!!

He did comment recently that he missed having you *sweet people* to help him. He was here first, maybe I should give him back his territory. I''ll see what he thinks when he gets here today.

OOh... by the way! He was offered a job at the first school he interviewed for on Tuesday, but is on his way to another interview now. It''s in 30 minutes, actually. He said he''s going to see how this interview goes, how he feels about the school, administration, all that, and then he''ll get a better *feel* for things. I know he''s just totally relieved to know that he at least won''t have to be at the same school he''s been at these past two years. It''s a "needs improvement" school, which he went into with gusto, but they don''t seem to want much in the way of improvements. It was disheartening to him.

I know he''ll end up somewhere that will be a great challenge, and fun!

Oops I guess I wasn''t clear. I meant MY boyfriend has the ring and is waiting to propose and if he posted somewhere about it I would barely be able to contain myself. Sorry I was confusing... your guy never went to any specifics about that. I did like helping with the diamond/ring search but I am sure he is doing great on his own now.

Seriously...let the boy surprise...don''t ask him questions...I think it could be irritating. I know it would be for me!. My BF once told me that I inquire so much about things that he would never ever attempt to plan a surprise birthday party for me. I told him I never had one and would love to have one!!. He said it would be impossible and I would take the fun from it.....

So...the point is...don''t ruin your own surprise...or drive him to the point were he would just want to give it to straight away so you can stop asking instead of planning a sweet memorable proposal!!...

It''s so great to get to meet both you and Paul. When I first read his posts, I thought this guy is too good to be true. Now that I met you I just see that you guys are two of the sweetest (and most in love) people I have come across in a long time. Very refreshing!!! I wish we had the opportunity to meet both people more often. Sometimes it happens by accident and it''s cute (like you guys and another couple I can think of).

Glad you are feeling better --- flu-like symptoms are the worst. I''m sure you will be feeling so much better with the weekend to relax as well. Funny, I am going to a wedding tomorrow as well. Have fun!!! I just hope I can get over my pooptastic day today and have fun tomorrow.

Thanks for the sweet comments, too. On the comment that he''s too good to be true: my best friend said that same thing, too, when I just *had* to tell her about sweet things he does, and just about his general demeanor. Then she met him. She says he makes her *swoon on my behalf.* You guys wouldn''t even believe how much I''ve grown so much more comfortable with myself, and with others, since we met. A good man can do wonders for a girl!

Is your screen name a name of a pet? I always thought something ending in "kins" would be cute for a pet.

Has Paul been to the hangout? Someone mentioned it earlier, and I think I''d like to go there. If I''m allowed, of course. I''m fully dedicated to being a grown up and not going where I''m not supposed to. But I do sort of feel like a posting hog around here. It''s partly because I was sick, partly because I really *think* you guys know things you''re not telling me, and because now I''m feeling better, but don''t feel like cleaning up the house before Paul comes. In two days of being sick, a doggie can make a world of mess! Scrapbook stuff is EVERYWHERE. I didn''t go downstairs much yesterday. She left all kinds of torn paper surprises for me.
 
I don''t know if any of you are prayers, but if you are, please pray for a friend of mine at work. Her daughter-in-law had their first baby on Wednesday night. A little girl, Caitlin Nicole. She was doing well, but then she had a siezure last night, and is now in intensive care. Since I''ve not been to work, I don''t know any more details, but I do know she''s a very *loved* baby and that they had to try for a *while* before they conceived. Anyway, there is a little baby who needs to get all better soon.

My screen name is kind of a combination of things. My cousin when he was little couldn''t say my name, so he just called me "Mimi". He would scream it across shopping malls in a really shrill little voice to get my attention (too cute). His rabbit had a litter and of course I had to take one home since I am a sucker for pretty much any animal. He hand picked me the runt of the litter and nursed her to health. We named the little rabbit Bunnykins. She didn''t live very long because she was too small and underdeveloped, but she was the friendliest rabbit I have ever seen. Anyway the name is a hybrid of the two.

I haven''t been followed the weight loss/engagement thread, but I will go take a look at it.

Oh I looooooove them. I think I''ve read that you really need to get 3/4 carat or above to get the full effect, and my boyfriend knows this, so I really doubt that I''ll get one.
