Well, since I just found out (oops!) that he ORDERED my ring from Whiteflash this weekend, I am HOPING to be off the list by the end of 2007!!!

Is anyone else making sure their nails look nice at all times lately???

Lol, thought I was the only one. My manicurist is wondering why I keep coming to see her...lol. So no Thanksgiving proposal or Birthday Proposal for me. I wasn''t really expecting it though. He has been hinting to a very special Christmas, which will be perfect since all of our families will be in town for the holidays and to celebrate! 29 days and counting!

Well, I was promised three Christmases ago (and even given a "promise ring") that 2007 would be The Year. As 2007 draws to a close, I''m waiting to see if that promise will be kept!

Definitely not me, unfortunately. Boyfriend of 1-1/2 years doesn''t feel ready. We''ve talked about it and I''ve agreed to give it a few more months, so maybe by early Spring. but definitely not for Christmas.

the closer christmas is getting the more anxious im getting!!!

today i was on the phone with M and i was like babe 3 weeks till christmas...and hes like babe how do you know its gonna happen in 3 weeks...and i was like it can happen earlier and hes like maybe or maybe after i dunno, just dont think you know everything hahaha...

great now im gonna be even more anxious!!!

This will be my first Christmas with my sweetie, and while I am expecting some diamonds

, they won''t be of the engagement variety. I have very little doubt that there will be a proposal by Christmas of next year, however. He''s already said he''s more ready to marry me after just four short months together than he was with any of his exes in the last seven years put together. I told him I''d accept a proposal from him after he spends at least four seasons with me.

so to add to my other post, i talked to my guy last night and asked him if he was in the still saving up mode, the looking mode, or the planning mode and if he planned on asking me by the new year. He said that he was still looking, saving, and has started to plan more. AND i asked him if he had found the one, and he said in a slyish grin, i dont konw, is that any of your business?? aww.. Soooo...YAY! And then i asked him if he has planned on asking me by the new year and he said that he would very much like to and is hoping that that is what will happen and that that is the plan. yipee!! I hope that he can figure all of it out by then!!! I really cant take another disappointed timeline. not that the timeline is blown to peices by his inability to ask himself, but by the circumstances and money. sooo...only 34 more days until the new year!!!

I never posted in the same thread that we had here last year - I didn''t have the heart to.

I knew he was totally against marriage - he had made it very clear to me and all our friends - and I had given up all hope basically, and told my parents that they needed to get used to the idea of grandchildren out of wedlock.

He then blew me away with a very romantic surprise proposal that he had been planning for 6 months on Christmas Eve.

We got the ring afterwards, so there were no hints whatsoever!
