How many pairs of earrings do you actually wear?

On one hand I wish I could pull this off. On another no way. Could you imagine how expensive it would be to have this many diamond (if they were mined diamonds) studs? LOL

Honestly, just my diamond studs. I don’t have loads of fashion earrings as I’m really allergic. I own 3 other gold pairs which I rarely wear. I was debating getting some Tiffany hardware earrings but when I think about it, it’s just stress shopping due to covid.

Pearls, three different colors
Gold hoops
Silver hoops
Gold heart dangles

So, 7 in regular rotation

I have a pair of bezeled diamonds that I love, but one needs a new back. So, I really should say 8.

I usually live in Pearl studs for work but have a good dozen or so other coloured stones and diamond varieties that I wear evenings and weekends. But I’m a bit obsessed with sets and if I have a coloured stone ring I fret until I can get a pair of earrings to go with it - regardless of whether I wear them!

I have a pair of studs in every gold color but in different shapes, 1 pair of dressier drop earrings, 4 pair of pearl earrings (freshwater, 2 different size Tahitian, baroque blue silver Akoya) and at least 10-12 pair of fashion jewelry earrings in different designs. So I may be overboard, but I don’t think you are.

But i got my all 6 earings in, plus 1 on Gary
I did ask if he would like to get 3 on each side like Bruce
Saddly he's not a fan (of Bruce)
I also don't think he likes my style choices that i base on Bruce


So i always find a sleeper goes in better when its been a while
so i used my buzzy bee to get the peircing comfortably open then i just shoved in what ever i could find

Anyway i said I'd wear some pearl earings today

Im not planning on going out in this ensemble
I mean i do beleave in mix and match but only up to a point !

Keepers are 'ear' rings that are the small round hoops that go 'all around' without a backing on them

They open and close but kind of click back into the round
maybe you guys call them something different
Maybe they are called keepers because they keep the whole open ?
I have an older friend who told me in her day this is what they first used in new holes - before those piercing guns that fire in studs

I know.this is an old thread but I actually like this look, maybe 3-4. I have 3 lobe piercings.

Nowadays, in the warmer months when my default tops are Jams World rayon Hawaiian shirts, I wear my tiny diamond huggies with interchangeable drops such as pearls, diamonds, Moissy, and LGD.

In the colder months, the default tops are fleece check shirts from Uniqlo with a higher collar, and I wear my collection of stud earrings such as diamond, LGD, and even costume ones with CZ.

I would say I wear about 10 to 15 pairs.

I have about 15 pairs and a few single gold piercing earrings.

I have 4pairs of studs and the rest are small diamond huggies, dangles and plain hoops. I always wear at least 2 pairs of small studs and I just change the main earrings. I have 3 lobe piercings (+2 cartilage) so most of my earrings get used!
