How many rings do you have?

How about getting some with coloured stones, lab/MMD diamonds or fashion jewellery with simulants?

Be warned - rabbit hole alert, all of them!!!

DK :lol-2:

I did! Mined stones, and now the lab stone!

Yes, I am looking at more ...more and more...it is such a deep, deep rabbit hole....and I wonder if it is normal for me to feel this way. :geek2:

Not too many. My main two are my OEC ER and my Cartier black Opal. Then I have a cluster old cut ring and aquamarine ring and a few odds and end rings. And bands. A number of bands that I rarely wear now. Mainly I wear Bubbalah and that’s it.

Yes I have seen your OEC ER in the other posts! Breathtakingly so beautiful...like a flower!

Sometimes I feel so guilty for wanting more bling...since they are not really cheap.

I think I have around 14 in total? But of those, I hardly wear any.

I wear my 3 wedding rings constantly, then i alternate mostly my amethyst or my grandmothers antique daisy ring on my RH stacked with my Tiffany Lucida band, but I don't always wear a RHR except from the band.

They must be so beautiful that you rather admire them in the boxes!

That's is what happened to me!

Well, they are mostly rings I have for sentimental reasons or that are old an too fragile to wear (but I had to have them because I wanted to save them from destruction or whatever... again, weird, I admit) or that are lovely but just don't look too good on my finger - but I'm so much into rings. They are my favourite. But Holy Moly - my collection is tiny compared to what others did display...

Great, I feel less guilty now that I heard there are people having 100-250 rings. My 20 something sounds way much modest & average

Oh man. A lot. Maybe 10? 15? And 2-3 more in the works. I am trying to cull my collection to the pieces I adore. Most are right hand rings but I do have some moissanite/lab diamond engagement rings that I switch between depending on my mood :)

I think it’s good to have a big and diverse ring wardrobe... what you wear reflects your mood and style that day. I wear my biggest and nicest rings when I go out alone or with my husband because I feel my free-est.

With my friends, I wear fun rings—whatever is fun to me, could be stacks of dainty rings or rings on multiple fingers. When I meet people professionally or formally I wear modest but good quality rings. With my parents I mix expensive and cheap rings because I try not to come across as extravagant.

I do exactly the same thing with my handbag collection, come to think of it.

Would love to see pics!

Here are a few screenshots of my collection folder which I haven’t updated—so missing some or has some that I’ve since sold.

I have 4 rings (I also have a pinky ring and a couple of bands but I’m not counting them). However I also have 3 more in the works.
Have you looked at this thread? If not you will have your mind blown. 10 is nothing!

I am so excited to, but also afraid, to open this link.

@nala, I think you need to do a post about your collection and regale us all with stories, and lots of pictures. There are so many intriguing pieces in those photos!!

I am humbled by your suggestion! Thank you!

I have a few being made at the moment, but I'll include those here as well.....

Rings that could be worn as engagement rings:
3 stone in yellow gold (5ctw)
Rubellite in yellow gold halo/cluster (approx 3.7ctw)
Ruby and diamond 5 stone in rose (antique) (2.5ctw)
Opal and diamond in rose (.8ctw of diamonds, opal is 2.63ct)
Diamond round with pear sides in platinum (2ctw)
Rubellite, tsavorite and diamond Christmas ring in yellow gold. (Approx 3ctw maybe?)

Diamond bands:
9 stone 1ctw in yellow
.72ctw 12 stone diamond in white gold (antique)
3.9ctw diamond eternity with single .6ct sapphire - in platinum
2ctw asscher eternity in platinum
4.2ctw princess diamond and sapphire eternity in platinum

Metal bands:
Holly ring in yellow gold
3mm engraved platinum band
3mm milgrain in yellow
2mm fully round in yellow
3mm domed heavy comfort fit in rose.

I owned about 72 rings - mostly bands - when I first joined PS. As it turns out, PS has been more about letting go than accumulating for me. Mostly, I've let go of the contents of my bank account....

:-o

In precious metals, 19 that I can currently wear, and 7 that either don't fit, need repair, or are future projects. I may part with a few of these in the next year, as I try to streamline my collection and weed out what is most rarely worn.

There are also 4 sterling rings that I wear with some frequency, and a small handful that I really never wear, but can't yet bring myself to part with.

Diamond round with pear sides in platinum (2ctw)

Ohhhh @mrs-b, is the round with pear sides one currently in production? I love this combo and can't wait to see it!!

Yes ma'am!

It's a 1.51ct center with 2 x .25 pears. G VS center, F VS sides. I always do colorless pears to avoid any hint of tint in the tip. (Say that quickly 5 times!) It will be a more casual ring with roughly a 20mm spread across my finger. I might upgrade the center to 1.7ct at some point, but I'm in no rush.

 this emoji appears to be drooling rainbow and I'm totally okay with that. I can't wait to see this -- your collection is ahmazing.
