How much is reasonable to spend on travel?

Hoenstly, TDM, I think whatever you can afford to pay in cash (or pay off your credit card bill in full) is acceptable. But then, travel is a huge priority for me. I''d rather go places than have most things (though I''m currently giving up travel for furniture....I can''t handle an empty apartment. I just want a dining room table. And maybe a bedroom set...), and that does include jewelry. So I''m an advocate of spending whatever you can to get a great trip. Definitely do your homework to get the best rates you can, but I would never pass up a chance to travel somewhere.
