I am looking into getting an engagement ring, would like for it to be oval solitare diamond and gold setting, around 3 carats. not sure how to approach clarity/color. Do not want any yellow, want it to be shiny. Price range between 20,000-30,000. Jewelry shop recommended color cut off around I/H and clarity S1/S2

It pains me to say this, because $30k for an ering is a lot, but your budget is pretty tight for a 3 carat and a setting.
