this is gonna sound like a strange question, but i just got engaged

and i have a gorgeous princess pave halo with a matching pave band. the basket of the halo is high enough so that the rings do sit flush. but i am starting to like the look with a little gap in between the rings because it makes the ering look more delicate and my center stone stand out more. so how can i "UN-flush" the rings? LOL

you could always add a very thin spacer that would make the set look un-flush.

does anyone have pics of their sets with spacers that they can show me

If you type spacer in the seach box, many threads will come up. Some will have pics in them.

By spacer they just mean a thin, plain band in between the two rings. You might ask your jeweler if he could place a small bead at the base of the basket, too.

I feel the same way as you! I have rings that sit flush, but I prefer a space. I am planning to replace my current setting with either a "basket" or "crown" setting, which will give you a space between rings - check out Ashley Judd''s ring on the Celebrity RIngs thread.
