Wow - I am just speechless today. Another CvB masterpiece - on MY hand!
This all started last fall, when I saw an emerald cut on Jewels by Grace that really caught my attention. It's 1.83ct, E SI1 (completely eye clean), with strong blue fluorescence - love it!!!! The squat shape, the color, the fluor... basically my dream EC. So I put it on layaway, and finally received it just before the virus hit. I had it for a few weeks, then sent it off to Caysie. She sent me glamour shots a few days ago, and they were gorgeous of course, but she said she couldn't capture it's character and presence, that it's better in real life. Well it finally arrived today - and oh my is it stunning! The stone was gorgeous alone, but wow does the right setting make a difference! So I present the "Annie" halo - superbly executed by CvB.
This was the original listing for the stone from Grace
Caysie designed the CADs for it - hard to believe these are just computer generated images.
The glamour shots of the real deal!
And today, it's home. Squeee!!!!

@ecf8503 This is a STUNNAH!
I have long loved that CvB setting; may I ask your finger size? I’m curious about real estate coverage afforded by this setting; thanks!
My ring is a size 5.5. The stone itself is 7.4 x 6.6mm... so the setting does add a nice frame without being too overpowering. Caysie has a great eye for scale and proportion!
My jaw just dropped to the floor!! This is a gorgeous step cut masterpiece! Caysie is amazing and your stone is so perfect. I could stare at those step cuts forever
