I got an idea...using a cirlcle of life pendant?

I had a thought. (scary, i KNOW.)

I am contemplating a nice little round halo pendant. My mom has offered me her round diamond to use (How sweet I know!!)
It''s .5 ct.

since I am thinking bezel set, could I just buy a small circle of life pendant and have the round bezelled in? Obviously, I know it would have to fit....

i''ve never seen a circle of life pendant even close to small enough to fit a .5ct stone.

seems like it''d be hard to find a COL tiny enough for a .5c? that''s like 5.4m center.

in any case, it might be cheaper (and better looking?) to just get an adwar pre-made halo for the .5c stone...they are stock and any jeweler could get the setting and set the stone for you.

The adwar would be the cheaper way to go. Finding a small enough COL pendant seems like a stretch. You''d probably have to have one custome made and then do the center stone in sort of an airline manner. That will be very expensive?? For wiw, I love my halo pendant from WF. Fun project, good luck!!!
