FI and I registered at Target today. I was thinking we might need to register in more than one place, but they really had everything we wanted. Even the big screen tv that I''m sure no one will buy for us, but we can always hope, right?

. FI''s pretty excited that he''ll be able to register for video games when there are more available for the ps3 too. I think he''ll have to wait til much closer to the wedding though because he won''t be able to wait months to get his videogames.

Where has everyone else registered?

They switch out their stuff very often so make sure you check and update your stuff often. We registered at C&B and BB&B. Oh we had a small one at pottery barn b/c I found bedding there I liked.

My cousin registered at Target and they put cat toys on the list. His mom was horrified but I thought it was hilarious so I bought those! Target gives a little something for everybody. I don''t know if they do the completion discount or not, but if they do, and nobody buys you the tv, maybe you''ll get 10% off after the wedding? That''s why we put some furniture on ours.

We''re registered at 4 places which I think is way too much but since we have friends all over the country and the wedding is in a different region, we had to give our friends places to shop as well as my mom''s friends.

We picked Crate & Barrel, Bed Bath and Beyond, Dillards and Macys, but we only registered at Macys because they had the china, crystal and flatware we picked out at Dillards and his mom would like to be able to see them. Plus, since they are all over the country (except the town we''re getting married in!!!) we felt it would be more accessible.

Aw how exciting Robbie!!!

I think we''ll wait to register until the Holiday''s are over and the craziness ends! We''ll end up registering at 2-3 places. The stores in running are BB&B, Crate&Barrel, Dillards, Macy''s, Target, possibly Williams Sonoma or Pottery Barn. We shall see. I def want china and all that so...we can''t wait to register, sounds like so much fun!

Tacori, thanks for the advice. I''ll make sure to check on it often.

Sum, I''m pretty sure that Target doesn''t do a completion bonus which is too bad since I''m sure no one will buy us the tv and we''ll end up buying eventually anyway. That''s too funny about the cat toys. I had friends that registered for video games and I''m sure that we will too eventually.

Rose, it was fun, but it took us forever and we were both pretty tired of shopping by the time we were done. I like that I can add things on from online whenever I think of something I forgot, though.

We had large identical ones at then-Hecht''s and Macys, like Sumbride because for some they only had one of the stores in their area. Then we had smaller ones at William Sonoma and Crate and Barrel and a local jewelry store that only my parents friends used.

Rose - You may want to take advantage to some of the holiday sales... I know Macy''s locks in sale prices when you register. So when you pick it, if its on sale for 25% off, it will always be 25% off.

We''re waiting until after the holidays when FI is going to design our wedding website.
We''re late 30''s early 40''s so don''t need a ton of house stuff so we''re going to have a honeymoon registry- either through a travel agent or paypal (fi is a webdesigner so can figure all that out)

Of course we do need some things like a new bedset, etc. so will probably register at Target, Macy''s or Kohls for some stuff. But we are trying to get RID of stuff after combining 2 households into one.

Honestly we could really use just $$ to put towards home repairs, etc. but need to give folks some options.
