I just wanna say -- the random comments thread

It’ll be worth it @MamaBee, I know it’s a literal pain, but honestly, having Invisalign in my 60’s is one of the best things I’ve done. I’m so glad to finally have straight teeth, it didn’t come without pain, but once you’re done, you’ll be really glad you did it.

I know yours are fixed braces, but every new set of aligners felt like I was back to square one, they cut in to my gums, they hurt my teeth, but it’s worth battling on. You’ll be even more lovely once it’s done :kiss2:

Thank you @Austina..I only have the top ones on now. I get the bottom braces on Thursday. She will then adjust the top ones. I think she makes them tighter. She said the bottom ones will hurt. I cut up my food like a baby without having all their teeth.. I was told that after every adjustment it hurts like heck for two weeks. I’m hoping to lose weight..I lost five since she put the top ones on three weeks ago..
Thanks for the encouragement! I needed some right now! ❤️

@MamaBee, I don’t remember braces hurting for two weeks after being tightened. I remember the first day hurting really bad and then only aching for a few days after that. They were tightened every month way back when I had them. I remember trying to schedule the day they tightened them on a Monday or Tuesday so my Friday nights and weekends were completely pain free.

That’s reassuring @Calliecake. I don’t know what to expect when I go in on Thursday. :oops2:

This article about Megan Fox, who apparently doesn’t exercise.

“‘I don’t exercise. If God had wanted me to bend over, he would have put diamonds on the floor.” :lol-2:

HI:

It is 30C outside. So I shopped online for cashmere hoodies. I am Canadian!

Missing all my loved ones who are gone. Especially Francesca and Fred.
No longer in my arms. But always in my heart. ♥️

HI:

Fact is, if I lived anywhere near Era Gems, I'd be done in. Their video's are awesome!!

This morning I walked out to find our eight year old son watching a room makeover show, like something you would see on HGTV lol! I mean, it’s great because it’s not mindless or the usual crazy cartoons he watches but totally caught me off guard.

Here he is with a dinosaur picture he drew :)

I love this! He’s such a cutie! I also love your dog in the background!

@MamaBee, he is a real character and keeps us on our toes constantly. That dog in the background is Tucker, very sweet but doesn’t know how to be a dog lol! They are both looking scruffy here, overdue for haircuts!

Well, good, I have a mini kitchen makeover I'm hoping to do later this year and I'll need the hands. Send him on up my way
That picture is awesome! My youngest is crazy about dinos too. She spends all her free time drawing specimens for her Paleontologist boards and arguing about them. I think it may be what she wants to study for 'real'.
She said to tell him she loves his work!
Dino pics are her favorite.
This is a Tarbosaurus Bataar she recently drew. thumbnail (1).png

He would be happy to help but be prepared because he can be a freshy fresh! I will absolutely tell him and my goodness that picture your daughter drew is amazing! If I didn’t know better I would think it came from a page in a book.

Ha, he'll fit right in and we promise to teach him only one blue streak to take back home. :wink2:
She'll love hearing that, thank you. She's going to be a 10th grader this year!
She also said she's happy to see that he turns the front the limbs the 'correct' way(big recent argument on the boards). Also, they may in fact have been becoming more vestigial and were possibly on their way out entirely if dinos had survived!
Cool, huh?

*I drive her nuts thinking everything with teeth is a T-Rex, soooo.

@ItsMainelyYou, we have kids the same age, our older son is starting 10th grade later this month! He is into coding though not dinos ;)

The Peabody museum here in CT is supposed to be great for dinosaur lovers but it’s under construction until 2024 I think. Once it reopens we will be going there for sure. I think it’s so great your daughter is so passionate about them, she should definitely turn that passion into a career.

Ha, small world. Coding is her second love! Our conversations are how do we combine them.
She asked what your youngest's favorite dino is.
She wants to draw it for him, special  It's her favorite thing to do.
Once you tell me and she's finished, I'll post it for him on here!

SO cute... Love the doggie photobomb too! Thanks for the day brightener!

@ItsMainelyYou, oh that is so sweet of her! I asked him and he said “Velociraptor!”

@junebug17, ha, in this house there is always an animal photobomb!

Here it is, she says she wishes him luck on his dinosaur journey!

That is amazing! She is quite the talented artist, wow I can hardly draw a proper stick person lol!

I will show him tomorrow since he will be in bed when I get home from work, he will be very excited! Thank her again for the sweet gesture, that is a gem of a kid you have there :)

DINO KIDS UNITE!!!
Aw, thanks. I'll pass that along to her.
She also says to tell him, keep drawing!
She was excited to see another dino loving kid artist.

*She draws these on her tiny phone screen with her fingers! I went and bought her an actual dedicated real drawing tablet thingy for digital artists, aaand still she draws on her phone screen. It's cool to watch her, unless she sees you watching, then she gets mad.

@ItsMainelyYou, he loved the picture and thought it was “so cool.” He also didn’t know that Velociraptors were covered in feathers. He sends along this thank you, he came up with the idea on his own ;)

It's perfect.:cool2:
I let her know, and she was so happy to do it. She's thinks that's very cool, I mean, it has an Indo and fire!

*This is a neat little thing, but she says that there is a new debate going on that dinosaurs could possibly have earlobes like chickens.chicken-ear-location.jpg
I didn't even know chickens had earlobes!

Right so as you said that I was thinking “chickens have earlobes?” Glad I’m not the only one who didn’t know that! @ItsMainelyYou
