So, in may I got my gorgeous BGD 1ct cushion in a very plain setting. Unfortunately I snagged one of the prongs as it sits rather high, and though it's been fixed it's not quite straight or centered. So, long story I am looking into setting options.

I need help with design ideas ... I love a solitaire but find them a little plain for my taste. I've tried on a 3 stone and it looked great but my concern is it wouldn't look good with any of my diamond bands.

What I really want, is an "interesting" version of a 3 stone! Or maybe maybe the finest of fine halos. I really want the cushions crisp shape to be emphasized and in the solitaire I don't think it does.

Maybe a half moon style halo on either side?

Any suggestions very welcome. Thanks

I don't have any ideas, but I'm all ears as well! I have an AVC in a simple setting, and I too think it doesn't show the true shape of the cushion all that well.

I was Thinking about some sort of contrasting collated (ie pink diamond) enhancement, but not a full halo ... Which is where crescent sides could come into it. The only problem is I have a pink sapphire band from BGD which I want to be able to wear with it!! What size is your AVC ecf???

It's 1.43 cts. 6.5 x 6.74mm

If you go custom just have the three stone constructed to work with a flush fit, straight, band. I like baguettes or pears with cushions. But my favorite is three cushions as long as the proportions are right.
