Sweetpea, where''d you find that picture? I looked everywhere! *Sigh*...I adore Charlotte''s gown. It''s so feminine and not at all the ballgown-y norm.
I found it somewhere in this website--if you know the order of the episodes/seasons well enough you can find it : )

Okay - First, I love the Charlette dress too. There are similarities, but this is no Badgley Mischka.

Second, Thank the good lord, I called the nice woman from the vintage dress shop. In spite of her policy, she is letting me exchange it if I want to. I really don't care about losing the $350 to the store... They sell vintage jewlery, including these pearls, which I love - maybe I can just tell dear fiance they can be my wedding gift.

She said I should take the week and shop around - if I see something better, return it Saturday. I think that sounds good. So now I am back to square 1 for the week. I am so relieved that I have the option, I can't tell you. Plus I will have the chance to try it on with full make-up again one day when I am feeling up to it, and see how it looks... Maybe I'll like it again.

But, in the meantime I am back to looking. I saw this awesome dress in blue... How I wish I could find something like this in ivory. I like this dress so much I am tempted to get married in blue. I think it would look good with the big vintage pearls I am planning on getting.

(I can't believe I have been sucked into this pricescope trap again after a year of being sober. Though, I appreciate any help you guys can give me on wedding gowns!!!)

cushion: i''m so glad that there is an exchange policy. sometimes you can find a killer clutch or little purse! you should definately look around especially because it''s the beginning of a new month, so stores normally update their lines and you''ll see newer stuff. for example all those jcrew dresses previously posted are still around, but now there are some new ones. good luck!

Thanks guys. It''s going to be a busy week.

I have liked Shoshona dresses. That one is pretty. I would prefer to stay at 3/4 length or floor length though.

Does anyone know where else online besides Saks and Neimans and Nordstroms you can find a selection of designer type formal dresses that are not neccisarily bridal dresses? I feel like there must be other good sites... It might save some leg work.

Thanks -
