risingsun your ring is to die for! And I know where you are coming from. When we purchased my 2.01ct rb the color wasn't as important to me as the clarity. I ended up with a J color and a VS1 clarity only because the inclusions were some pinpoints and could be covered by my prongs or I would have been all the time looking for them. Your set is so classic and down right gorgeous. Wear it in good health, it's beautiful!

I knew that this was something that would nag at me, so decided to take care of it. Diamonds in this range seem to be in short supply. I checked the PS database and not much came up, so I seized the opportunity when this stone came in.

As you know I love this setting as well as the previous one (the one I based my current ring on). Oh and I stopped by the Bernie Robbins near me and gazed at their HOFs!

I'm agonzing over it......I know my stone/solitaire is goreous "as is" however, the halo is still calling my name.

Only under the loupe, agatha. It is a what we call "mind clean." It makes a difference to me knowing this diamond has fewer inclusions. My SI1 was eye clean and I couldn't see any inclusions. I hope this makes sense

makes total sense! stats DO have a lot of influence. i was just wondering if when you're looking at it you can actually see the quality difference, cuz i have a H/SI ring on it's way to me, and the diamionds i have now are G/VVS. may very well fall in the same category as 'mind clean' though
