They are all separates. Mix and match as I wish. I will set a few more stones next year for more combinations/variety…
Not my finger, from my jeweller:
Thank you! Am now thinking of other motifs that I can make. Orchid is a front runner but maybe an animal/insect motif (ladybug, snake) if it looks manageable by the workshop. Ideas are most welcomed!

Orchid sounds great…but PLEASE do a snake!! I have been obsessed with snakes recently due to @ItsMainelyYou ’s ring! I wonder if the snake ring can be worn between the two gemstones and somehow “snake” around them? (I tried drawing my thoughts…decided against posting the horrible results LOL)
Ooh, orchid is a great idea. I really think it could work with an insect motif too. Maybe a dragonfly or butterfly. I think they would fit with larger gems really well.

Ooh, ooh, yes! That would be so cool!
Again, stunning rube! Congrats on the reset!! So what are you doing with that giant yellow oval?
What a beautiful reset!!
Simply gorgeous.
Beautiful setting, my favorite. Can we see more of it?
I like this view.
And… I’m officially on ban island (ok, was already working on a few setting projects but aside from those and setting this one I really really will need to take a pause to recover)…
Because of this…
So my jeweller Wriston brought this ruby in and I thought it looked nice in his IG pics but I was so busy I really didn’t have time to pop by until I happened to have a spot of free time and messaged him and luckily I did cos apparently the supplier was going to pick up the stone that day as he was flying back the day after.
When I saw it what struck me was the beautiful shade of red. Hopefully u get what I mean from the pics but it’s a lovely saturated looking red. No purples, no pink.
I already knew from Wriston that it doesn’t have strong fluorescence (Mozambique ruby) but he sent me an outdoor pic that still seemed promising and made me want to have a look…
When I saw it I pretty much fell for the redness. Like I said, that particular shade of red. Still, no strong fluoro so had to see outside…
Outdoors… and it looked ok to me, thanks to the color.
And a close up…
With my other reds… Burmese spinel, rubellite, ruby, ruby (maybe not obvious from pic but this ruby has the reddest red)
I moaned and groaned and hesitated as omg such a pricey purchase but I figured if I pass on it I will beat myself up for the years to come (like a 6ct sapphire that I still think about) as it has that beautiful shade of red that I really like. So yeah, I got it and now I’m on ban island. I think I will watch more tv shows instead of browsing blings and maybe I need to stay away from PS for a while…
And what I probably will set with as I have a set of traps lying around… alternative is a pair of 1ctw rounds using a pair of earrings that I no longer wear. Or… I can go for a halo hahahah.
Which one do you ladies think is a better option? Traps, rounds or halo? Ideas and pics are most appreciated!
You SET her!! Oh it's glorious! What a way to ring in the New Year. Are the traps channel set?
Looooooove it Icy!!!!! Excellent finger coverage too!!!!!
It's such a beautiful bright red!!!!!
Thank you! Yes, channel set.
Thank you! Haha I’m surprised you say excellent finger coverage (thinking of snot sized lol). It is a beautiful red indeed.
It’s 3.03ct, measuring 10.22x6.93x4.15mm. Unheated Mozambique. GRS vivid red.
Aww why can't you do insects Icy?
Haha so it was you who scored the pad!!!!!
Halo it!!! Triple halo it! You can do it!!!
Perfect!
