My fiance inherited a heart diamond from his mom:
It's a little bigger than my e-ring stone so I think it's at least 1.1 carats, ~SI1 and faces up very white. We decided against resetting it in my engagement ring and I'm not a fan of right hand rings for myself, so I would like to set it in a necklace. I have two main ideas for this so far:
Something like this necklace (from Tiffany) with a heart instead of the aquamarine:
A simple solitaire:
Does anyone have any thoughts on these, or any different ideas? When I search for heart pendants it seems like it mostly just comes up with sterling silver necklaces with outlines of hearts.
