Ideas for pendant setting

Hi guys,
just got this simple piece of tourmaline.

Green Tourmaline
Scissors Cut
13.9 X 8.9 X 5.9
6.65CT

Wanted to set into a nice pendant but seems to be lacking in ideas.
Wanted something unique yet simple
Any suggestions?

. I''d wrap diamonds around a pebble if it pleased me. Your stone is gorgeous and in my humble and slightly insane opinion, should be surrounded by a setting of equal beauty. Doesn''t necessarily have to be less or more expensive, but it should be beautiful -- and please you.

So... so what

That sapphire from the SevenOne's picture would have looked fake in a wire vrap ! There so much branded jewelry done with syntetic topaz and quartz and dimaond pave, that this is by no means herezy. Your tourmaline is allot loverlier than those impersonal, run of the mill syntetics. If the setting will cost more, this just means that the finished piece will be valuable itsef.

There is a limit for anything, of course - but that is really up to your imagination. There are no rules.

You certainly do not have to take this as encouragement though...

18 and 22k gold, diamonds and... well, some folk surely like rocks

Perhaps these pieces need an explanation, tourmaline does not.
