Ideas for sapphire pendant

I have a small (probably about 1/3 carat) sapphire that I would like to make into a pendant. I would love to see ideas for possible settings.

OK, here''s one:

Buy 11 more of them, plus a 7 carat or more heart-shape Z+-grade fancy vivid canary yellow diamond for contrast. Encircle the sapphires around the yellow diamond. That should catch all the attention you need for your pendant.

Hope you do find the ideal setting for your pendant.

Thank you. You really can''t go wrong with a classic look. It gets loads of comments everytime I wear it. I think part of that is because alot of people haven''t seen a pink sapphire in person. I love sapphires. I have blue, pink, yellow. Now I''m lusting after either a purple or a green

Funny that I should find your post while searching for setting ideas for my own sapphire! Mine is a medium blue 5mm octagon that looks like a round cut from a distance. I''ll post pictures in a separate thread later, but here''s a pendant I found on Mondera.com that may provide some inspiration. I like the classic look, and the halo would add to the size and more sparkle -- always a good thing!

Singing Bell''s Celtic-inspired design is lovely. But, just in case you didn''t go through the Pigeon Blood Red discussion that''s currently going on, you might wish consider using gold which may complement your violetish sapphire better.
