Hey all
I am home from our mini honeymoon to Paris. It was amazing! We saw so much and even though I had blistered feet from my FLAT wedding shoes (that were supposed to be the comfy ones I changed into out of my heels) I did my best to walk round and enjoy the sights! We used the Batobus to get to the main attractions on the first full day and then went to Montmatre and the Sacre C'oeur on the second day.
We had an artist draw a caricature of us...he even signed it with our wedding date. We were fleeced in terms of how much he wanted to charge for it, but we bartered and got a slightly cheaper price!
I have some non pro pics on my facebook but I look truly dreadful in most of them and now I have had time to study them I have found little things I am not happy about, such as the fact that during the ceremony and pictures immediately following (the only parts of the day documented with a professional photographer, my dress wasn't laced up nearly as tightly as it should have been so I look like I am wearing a sack on top! Also, my hair...the hairdresser left a silly tuft of hair sticking out of the back on the right hand side so it shows up in lots of photos! AND, the cake wasn't assembles correctly by the reception venue staff...they didn't take the layers off the silver board, spoiling the look of the cake completely! GAAAAAH!!!!)
Oh well, not much I can do about it now.
