I LOVE that tile!!!
That looks absolutely amazing! Kudos on the tile job, especially with your uneven surfaces and walls! The tile is really perfect. It is already bouncing light around the space and will really brighten things up. Well done! I love it!
Thanks!
I love it and it's so beautiful up close. I pat it when I pass it. It feels nice. It is much brighter in there already. I tell her how pretty she looks.
When we build the masterbath upstairs I actually may use it in a different color.
I can't wait for the lights and hood to get here. I don't want to put anything back up on the other wall now, though! I'm going to add another 7-8 ft of the butcher instead of stone(less weight) from that wall going under the windows and I found some pretty turned legs to use. After that, it'll be installing the butler counters, new sink, new cabinet hardware and papering the little ceiling in there and I'll be done in here for now. I keep saying that and DH keeps rolling his eyes.
I'll paint cabinets in a year or so, maybe, probably. You know. Then there is the laundry room, that needs some major attention...
I have to buy new furniture for some other rooms...
I'll post a picture with the hood and lights when we get them up.
They are solid! I can't wait to get the island light and the little pantry light in.Wow!! Im loving the lights!
Thank you for this! I measured the higher position and it's 30'' almost exactly, so that's what we're doing.

So cute.
My poor DH can pick his head up off the wall and stop saying, 'Here---arm drag---Here? You should take a picture and go ask some chickens. Just tell me where to put the holes.' in that (Bueller) tone he gets because I made him do it five times.
Men can be so dramatic…..
Shorter is better!
It's seems a little big for the room and I probably should have gone for a flushmount but I'm not bothered by it too much. I always overreact initially to change, so there's that. The room is just too small for it to be 'in your face'. It's nice not to have to talk through the fixture, you know?
I wish the pictures could translate the feel better, it just feels nice to look at. It's just so cute. Even with that giant TV ruining my sight lines!I definitely prefer it higher. It lifts the space.

It's starting to come together, just a few more bits and bobs in the main room! I so want to get that room decluttered before the bigger outside projects start I can taste it
Almost! It has really come together! Love the tiles and colors and flush mounts—even the placement. You have a wonderful eye for scale/pattern/texture. We will ignore the TV.
Welp, he gots himself a superfluous hood. I hated the way it looked going all the way up to the ceiling and since it's not vented I told him just to put the one piece on top. Eh, it's for looks. We made the little counter and it's cute, I'll put some little stools to grab eats and it's where the Keurig/air fryer will live.
Oh, I really like the look of this Ilve range, and I'd like a new one. People seem to love it and it's very pretty with the color options, but does anyone on PS actually own one? I would love to have a real world endorsement that it's a decent stove.
He's so happy with it, all essentially for two little lights in a room with a million new ones...I love everything! The hood...well, sometimes you have to give to get...lol
I can't help on the range as I have nothing but electric here (I miss gas!)
Thank you, YadaGotta say, I love your kitchen, so cozy and inviting, like the perfect place to invite a friend for a coffee or tea and talk about sparkly things
