Thank you, Kim. Now that I have had a few days to process letting him go, I am just feeling such a swelling of love and appreciation for the time we had.

I’m so sorry for your loss @MMtwo. Sending you hugs and support. I know this doesn’t make this loss easier for you but please know you did the most loving thing for Jazzy. He knew he was loved. You gave him a wonderful life.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Even if somewhat expected it's never easy. I’m glad you got time with him and a good send off loving him til the end. He’ll have known how loved he was and surely loved you as much in return.

Me too, I am so glad I had that brief remission to enjoy him and get extra snuggles.
He was a spoiled little house prince, so he was surely aware he ruled everyone and was waited upon with happy faces .

I am so sorry @MMtwo there are no words to soften the grief and the loss you are experiencing. My heart goes out to you and I hope you can take some comfort knowing what a great life you gave Jazzy. This quote brings me some comfort "where there is deep grief there was great love". In the end you gave him the greatest gift of all. Freedom and peace from the pain. Oh Missy, I know yo love your furr babies too and know how hard this can be. One day at a time and focusing very hard at all the great days and times he was in our life. I will add a few pictures of the happy times. Because if you smile, if we smile, we are doing exactly what he would want us to do.

2019 COVID - sewing masks. Jazzy helped with the tie production.

We miss him so much. We have decided to put a deposit on two Balinese kittens from a cattery in PA. It sounds so fast, but it will be 8-12 months before they are ready to come home. We would adopt from a local shelter, but Hubby needs this type that works well with his allergies. We have something to look forward to.

The breeder has many videos of the kittens playing. It helps so much to watch them run around, tiny tails held high attacking each other. At home, plans have begun to close off kitten dangers. We ordered folding window shutters for a tempting kitchen pass through window. Jazzy used to pretend he was launching into the kitchen through this window, but he was a bit of a potato.



Will get childproof plastic barriers for here. I can just imagine falling kittens.
