Mscushion: That's my dress!! A beautiful silk taffeta Amsale!!
Really? I LOVE that dress -- haven't gone to try it on, but I am dying to. I tried on other, more A-line Amsales, which were also beautiful.

I am excited for you to be wearing that dress!

ETA: I also love your table decor inspirations. Where are you getting married?

We're already married and hopefully renewing our vows on our 10 yr anniversary..but jeez it's just too fun to play around with! So, this is my first attempt at it! hahaha it's pretty much all flowers in colors I like!

eta: ok it didn't work! nevermind!

Dunno if this will work or be super tiny..

I''m having trouble. When I tried to create mine in bridal canvas all the photos seemed to upload fine until I saved and only 3 show up in my final product. Is there another way?

Mscussion: I''ve even done an Inspiration Board on the dress and accessorizing it. Because the dress does not have much bling, I wanted to do a little more. Will probably do chandelier earrings and hair comb for an updo. I wouldn''t do a necklace.

The dress is just fabulous looking and feeling!!

Mscushion: Oh, forgot to answer that we''re having our wedding in DC at the Willard InterContinental in the Crystal Room. It''s pictured (with the chuppah) on the bottom corner right of my first inspiration board.

Thanks, brendaman! Your accessories board looks fabulous -- and you look beautiful in the dress!

What''s the dress called? It doesn''t have a name on the Amsale website. Thanks!

I finally made one! I''m thinking blushes and golds, lots of candlelight, with a sort of antique/vintage feel. The wedding will be October of 2010, so I''m a little worried it''ll look too springy? Of course we are having it in Naples, FL so I don''t think the season will matter too much.
Ooh I love this! I thought about doing something in this same color scheme but I couldn''t quite get it right, so I changed it completely. Yours looks great!

Thanks for this thread, it helped me figure out bridalcanvas.com a bit. I just made a quickie one with our desired ceremony and reception sites and the bridal look that I''m going for.

caribqueen, I had the same problem when I attempted to use a few of the templates on bridal canvas (It was so frustrating!!). I ended up using the template with room for 16 square pictures, and it seems to work really well for me (if you click back to page 1 of this thread, you can see my examples.) Another option would be to use your own canvas (not a template) - you can use any size and shape, with as many photos as you''d like. I personally prefer a template, because then you do not have to arrange the overlappinig photos and I like the organization of the separate, "boxed" photos. I hope this helps! If you have any other issues, I''d be more than happy to try to help!

My first attempt at one of these things...

The template w/16 boxes was the one I originally tried to use and couldn''t figure out how to save the dumb thing! Foiled by technology again! The template was way easier to arrange tho-no resizing or anything!

I know it-I made my husband sit down and look at it, explaining why I chose what I did..poor guy. I played the dress your wedding thing at David''s Bridal a while back, and told him I wasn''t planning on having another dress etc..and now I''m like, screw it, I want a new dress and the whole 9 yards! And now I see someone did a board just on the dress..I think I might have to do that too! If there are any other fun things you brides do, I don''t want to know about them!

finally made one the "right" way. today has been a total waste, thank you bridal canvas!

lets see if that works.

nope! this will work hopefully!

I don''t have enough of my own elements yet to make it all look cohesive and am getting really frustrated. Grrrrr

That''s why they are called "inspiration" boards, no? Come on...give it a shot!!

OK, I finally spent a few hours cutting, pasting, reformatting, bla bla bla. And I have a board. Many of the elements are real, or the colors, like my BMs get to choose the style of their own dress, but this is the color. The bouquets are close to real. And I have those shoes in champagne and am considering getting a pink pair since I love them and they are SO comfortable! Yay! And thank you for the encouragement Rock of Love!
